To apply for NDA examination, your age should between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

No you are not eligible to apply for the NDA examination now.
To apply for the NDA examination a candidate age should be
16.5 to 19 year at the time of training.

Since your age is 19 years but you are over age at the time

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. Called NDA I and NDA II.

For NDA I exam normally held in the month of Apr and for NDA II exam held in Aug every year.

Age Eligibility

As per notification of NDA II the following candidates can apply:

Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd Jul 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1996 are eligible.

The important dates related to NDA II are as follows:

Date of Notification in Employment News : 09.04.2011

Last date for receipt of application: 09.05.2011.

Last date for reciept of application for those candidates residing in hilly
area and staying abroad: 16.05.2011.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for NDA II examination.

NDA examination is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

The NDA II exam for the year of 2011 is going to be conducted on 21-08-2011.

The eligibility criteria will be as follows
Age criteria :
-Only unmarried male candidates are eligible
-Candidate should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years.
-Candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st January,1996 are eligible.

As you did not fall under this age, you are not eligible to appear for NDA exam

Don't loose hope you are having other chance to join Defence force but for that you have to first complete you graduation then apply for CDSE exam.

FOR NDA

you have to be 16 half to 19 half years of age i.e born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1996 are eligible.
So, you are not eligible...

and must have passed 12 or appearing for final results.

and it is for all criteria there is no relaxation...........

To be eligible for National Defence Academy examination, the candidate must be a male indian within the age limit of 16 1/2 to 19 years on the date of commecement of course.

To be eligible for NDA-2 2011 examination only those candidates can appear who have born not earlier than July 1993 and not later than July 1995.

As per your age you are no more eligible for NDA examination.

As per you date of birth, you are no more eligible for NDA examination. To be eligible for the exam candidate must be within age limit of 16 1/2 to 19 years on the date of commecement of training.

And only male candidates are eligible for the examination, girls cannot apoear in NDA examination.

Dear,
To give the NDA exam , age limitation should be within 16.5-19 years.
Apart from that the various eligibilities are as follows:-
1.) 10+2 pass students with physics , chemistry , maths ( minimum of 55-70%[approx] )
2.) Only unmarried male candidates are allowed , girls are not allowed.
3.) Minimum height should be 157 cm with 5cm chest expansion.
4.) Eyesight should be 6/6 of both the eyes.

So , if you fall in this category , its well and good and you can apply for it.

Sorry Friend,

The age limit to give NDA exam is 16.5 to 19 yrs s on the commencement of the course.
So you are not eligible to give NDA exam since your age is more then the limit.

I suggest you to do graduation first and then apply for CDSE( Combined Defnce Services Exam) conducted by UPSC.
There are other ways to join defence forces too such as, UES(University Entry Scheme), TGC(Technical Graduate course), EKT(Engineering Knowledge Test) and SSC(Short Service Commission).

Sorry, you cannot apply for NDA at an age of 20 years (provided by your date of birth).
The eligibility criteria for NDA is :
1. Nationality : You must be a citizen of India.
2. Gender : You must be a male candidate.
3. Martial Status : You must be an unmarried candidate.
4. Age criteria : The age limit is 16.5 years to 19 years.
5. Education Qualification : You must have passed the 12th class examination or any equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.
