Weight :You weight should be minimum 60Kg. Eyesight :Your eyesight should be minimum 6/6 and should have no color blindness. ##Physically handicapped students are not allowed. |

These exams are conducted for candidates to join in Indian Army and Navy.If you are interested in joining the defence forces you must write these exams and the thing is that if you want to write these exams you need to satisfy the eligibility criteria framed by these exams.The eligibility criteria for these exams are as follows: Eligibility for NDA and CDS: For writing these exams,the candidate must be a citizen of India and must strictly be a unmarried male candidate . The age limit for the exams are that the candidate must have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years for candidates who are wishing to write the NDA exam and for candidates who want to write the CDS exam must have a age limit of 19-24 years for joining in Indian Army and 19-22 years for joining in Indian Navy . Regarding the education qualification for the exams you need to have completed a degree from a recognized university for joining in Indian Army through CDS and for joining in Indian Navy you need to have completed a Engineering degree . For candidates who want to join through NDA must have completed +2 from a recognized board of school education with a fair percentage. Candidate should seek that they are physically fit while appearing for the NDA and CDS exam as it is a defence force. If you possess these criteria's for the respected exam then you can apply for the NDA or CDS exam. Eligibility for SSC: This exam is conducted for candidates to join in Indian Navy force.The eligibility criteria's are: The candidate who is applying for this exam must be a citizen of India and should be a unmarried male candidate. Candidate should have a age limit of 19 1/2-25 years. Regarding the education qualification for the SSC Exam candidate need to have completed a Engineering/Technology degree with 55% aggregate from a recognized university. Candidate should be physically fit while appearing for the SSC exam best of luck |

Dear, The ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for INDIAN ARMY is as follows:- Technical Entry Scheme (TES) for male 10+2 (PCM) candidates. 10+2 Pass unmarried make candidates with Physic, Chemistry & Maths (PCM) with a minimum of 70% marks and between the age of 16½ and 19½ Years are eligible for the grant of permanent commission in the Army after 4 Years of technical military training with prescribed terms eligible candidates are invited through advertisement in the Employment News and other prominent dailies. The candidates must have a 6/6 eyesight in each eye with or without glasses and a minimum height of 157.5 cm with chest expansion of 5 cm. Candidates have to clear total training period of 5 Years including 1 Year of Basic Military training at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun and 4 Years of Technical training at Pune Secunderabad. On successful completion of course, cadets are granted Permanent Commission in the rank of Lieutenant as also an Engineering degree. Thanks. |

Re: Requirements for joining Indian Army after B.Tech ECE? hi.... yif you want to directly join the army then you have to write cds exam , this exam is conducted twice an year, the syllabus consists of general awareness and simple mathematics, you have to choose among army,navy,and air force,but for air force you should have perfect eye sight and also pass the required medical standards, you can get all the information at www.upsc.gov.in all the best |
