NDA (National Defence Academy) This exam is conducted thorugh upsc every year ,the intrested candidates have to appear the exam.NDA exam is conducted twice in a year , NDA - I & NDA - II. The eligibility criteria for this exam are as follows: The candidates should be unmarried. The candidates should be a 10 +2 pass from a recognized board. The candidates should be from science stream. The age limit is : NDA - I: The candidates born not before 2nd July, 1998 and not later than 1st July, 2001 are eligible to apply. Re: Am I eligible for NDA-1 exam 2017 as per my age? Your age should be in between 16.5 years to 19.5 years to apply for NDA exam. This age should be as on 30th June 2017. As per date of birth given by you, your age will lies in between the defined standards for fulfilling the age eligibility to appear in NDA exam. So, you are eligible to apply for NDA exam. |

The eligibility to appear for NDA I 2017 examination is that candidate must have passed or pursuing in 12th from a recognised board. Candidate must be born between or on 02nd July 1998 and O1st July 2001. For recruitment in Indian Navy and Air Force the discipline must be PCM. The last date of filling the online application for examination is closed now and as according to eligibility you are not eligible to appear for examination. |

The age limit required to appear in NDA examination is 16.5 to 19.5 years as on 1st January of the year of examination. As per the information you have mentioned in your query, you are in between 18-19 years of age, so, you are eligible to appear in NDA-1 examination. |

NDA refers to National Defense Academy and to join the same one has to qualify NDS entrance examination which is held twice every year i.e; once in April and once in September by UPSC. As far as you are concerned about the age limit for NDA I 2017 which is scheduled to be held on 16th April 2017 then for appearing in same candidate must have born in between 2st July 1998 to 1st July 2001 ( both dates are inclusive ). So having born on 16th June 1998 you are not eligible for appearing in NDA I 2017 examination. For exact details about NDA I 2017 you can refer to the link www.upsc.gov.in from the same link you can also download the notification released for same examination. |

The male candidates who have passed 12th or pursuing in 12th from a recognised board and born between 02nd July 1998 and 01st July 2001 are eligible to appear for examination. The examination is conducted for recruitment in defence service. |

Re: Am I eligible for NDA-1 exam 2017 as per my age? The full form of NDA is National Defence Academy. Eligibility criteria for NDA entrance exam: 1. Age criteria: According to official notification for NDA I by UPSC, candidates born earlier than 2nd July, 1998 and not later than 1st Jan, 2002 were eligible for NDA I of 2017. You were not eligible and most important thing is that last date to apply is over now. 2. Forms for NDA II will be out on 7th June, 2017 and you will eligible for that. You can apply for this exam at http://www.upsconline.nic.in. 3. Science stream candidate with mathematics are eligible for all wings of Defence. Female candidates are not eligible for NDA examination. |

Age limit for NDA exam is 16.5-19.5 years. In case of NDA I , those who were born before 2nd July, 1998 were not eligible. You can apply for NDA whose forms will be available in June, 2017. |

NDA stands for National Defense Academy and same is an academy meant for providing training and necessary education to those who manages to qualify NDA entrance examination. NDA entrance examinations are held ( once is April i.e; NDA I and once in September i.e; NDA II) twice every year by UPSC in two stages which includes Written Examination followed by SSB ( Service Selection Board ) interview respectively. As far as you are concerned about the age limit for appearing in NDA entrance examination then it is 16.5 years to 19.5 years by that starting date of the NDA course for which student has been selected. Now, as NDA I 2017 is held for offering admission in the course commencing from 2nd January 2018 and hence to be eligible for appearing in NDA I 2017 one must be born in/on between 2nd July 1998 to 1st July 2001. So having born of 16th June 1998 you are not eligible for appearing in NDA I 2017 as per the required eligibility criteria for the same examination. Re: Am I eligible for NDA-1 exam 2017 as per my age? NDA stands for National Defence Academy. NDA is considered as the best route to join Defence after senior secondary board examination. Science stream students are eligible for all wings of Defence like Air Force, Navy and Army. Important dates for NDA I exam: Application started from 18th January, 2017 and last date to register was 10th February,2017. You can not apply for NDA I but you will be applicable for NDA II whose starting date of application is 7th June, 2017. Age criteria is 16.5 to 19.5 years for candidates of all category. |

The last date to apply for NDA 1 exam of 2017 is already over and now you need to wait for NDA 2 notification. As per your age limit, you will be eligible to apply for NDA 2 examination. Only unmarried male candidates can apply for NDA examination. For Navy and Air Force, mathematics and physics is necessary for NDA examination. The eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board and age limit is between 16.5-19.5 years. Only male candidates are eligible to appear for examination. For NDA 1 the application form is closed. Candidates born between 2nd July 1998 and before 1st July 2001 are only eligible. Am I eligible for NDA-1 exam 2017 as per my age? My dob is 16 June,1998. So am I eligible for NDA-1 exam 2017 at this age or not? Please calculate properly, then tell me. |
