Re: Is there any age limit for company secretary course? Sir, I am 43 now. Have no B com Background but graduated in Arts stream. Having 18 years of office secretarial experience. I would like to do CS only for better carrier opportunities. I am fully aware that Admin Secretarial experience is entirely different to Company secretary profile. Will there be any betterment in career. What is the income i can expect after doing CS with my experience in previous jobs ? Look forward for a proper guidance in this forum please. |

Re: Is there any age limit for company secretary course? I HAVE COMPLETED MY POSTAL TUITION COACHING FOR INTER EXAM IN THE YEAR 2000 AND AFTER THAT I COULD NOT CONTINUE MY COURSE.IF I WANT TO CONTINUE THAT COURSE, CAN I TAKE REGISTRATION DENOVO ? |

Re: Is there any age limit for company secretary course? C.S stands for Company Secretaryship. Eligibility : 1. Candidate must have completed minimum 10+2 or equivalent examination. 2. Graduates and post graduates who have passed final exams of ICWAI or ICAI are also eligible. Few specializations in these fields are : 1.Tax laws 2. Economic laws 3. Labour laws 4. Company law Few job types under this field: - 1. Chairman 2. Managing Director 3. Board of Directors of a Company >> An individual can get a salary ranging from Rs.20,000 to Rs.25,000 in a reputed company in private sector. Courses offered by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India: 1. Professional Development course 2. Pre Membership Training 3. Professional Programme 4. Executive Programme 5. Foundation Programme |

Re: Is there any age limit for company secretary course? Hi, As far as age limit to take up company secretary course is concern.There is no maximum age limit to apply for company secretary course. To be eligible, all you need is to have qualified 2 level of exam in any stream. Institute of Company Secretaries of India(ICSI) is the institute which is responsible for conducting exams for the COMPANY SECRETARY COURSES. To apply for these courses you have to be eligible for the CS Through this you will be allowed in the FOUNDATION PROGRAMMER and there are three stages for this and they are: 1)FOUNDATION PROGRAMMER 2)EXECUTIVE PROGRAMMER 3)PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMMER You have to clear all these courses and undergo practical training to become a qualified COMPANY SECRETARY Good Luck........ |

No there is age limit to apply for the Company secretary course The Company Secretary course is conducted in three stages: Foundation Executive Professional Eligibilty to apply for the CS Foundation course is: >> 12th Pass in any stream No minimum percentage of marks required in class12th Subjects to study in the CS Foundation Course English and Business Communication Economics and Statistics Financial Accounting Elements of Business Laws and Management Eligibilty to give the Executive level Exams of ICSI is Graduation Pass or Foundation course pass of the ICSI OR CPT Stage of ICAI programme |
