Re: Chances of going abroad after clearing GRE GRE means graduate record examination.you can go abroad and study in your favorite college by getting good score in GRE exam. you can study abroad with the help of scholarship provided by the foreign universities. you can also go abroad and study there privately. |

Re: Chances of going abroad after clearing GRE GRE is a exam by which you can take admission in foreign country colleges.. for that you have to do well in this exam, to get a good foreign college.. so,don't worry , you can obviously get a chance to go abroad for higher study through GRE..... |

If you score well you will get good college and schol as well I would like to suggest you one more thing.... you should take subject GRE. Subject GRE's give you a chance to show your knowledge of a particular... if you do well universities will take notice and you will have advantage over other students with just GRE ... in fact many P.hd courses mandate candidates to have Subject GRE. Chek out on the sites of the colleges you want to apply so as to which subject they want.you can take it in 8 subjects:::: Psychology Mathematics Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular ... Literature in English Computer Science Biology Chemistry Physics |

Re: Chances of going abroad after clearing GRE Dear friend GRE opens doors of foreign universities for you.. so that your application will be considered.. but you also need to have letters of recommendation form reputed profs. GRE alone can't guarantee you good college, lest you wana get trapped into some low profile college. For good MS you need to work since beginning.. good Acads, Some published papers , letters of recommendation... done properly will get you good college and scholarship. HIgh GRE score help in all this. |

Re: Chances of going abroad after clearing GRE Hello friend, GRE is not the sufficient fr studying in abroad you must clear the TOEFEL/ILETS with it. Also you must have to clear NET for doing the phd degree in abroad like us, uk, canada etc. Good luck!!!!! |

As you have done PG in microbiology & want to do PhD in abroad, so GRE is only path that fulfill your dream of PhD. & there are 100% surity that if you will qualify in GRE, then you can go abroad for your higher studies. But you have to ready some document like Passport,Visa etc. kindly take well preparation for GRE. good luck. |

Re: Chances of going abroad after clearing GRE Dear Friend, GRE(Graduate Record Exam) is just an exam to assess your verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, critical thinking, and analytical writing skills. This exam is conducted just to scale a student on a standard scale of GRE. this exam is no way interconnected to any courses.. (please remember everyone). GRE just give you a passport to enter the foreign universities as they require your knowledge of the english language. That is it. You have to score at least within 5000 points in GRE to go with a good rank. All the best! |

Re: Chances of going abroad after clearing GRE GRE score alone is sufficient for securing admission in some or the other university abroad...but your marks decide the quality of university you get admission into...moreover the same criteria doesn't apply to every university for ex some university may demand some additional qualification/work along with good gre score and masters degree....you need to short list universities in which you are aiming to get admission and then probably look into their criteria for admission |
