HI,
I have completed my masters in microbiology ,i would like to do Phd abroad.can you please provide me the necessary path to be followed to do so.how much GRE would be effective and how much certainty is there to go abroad if i clear GRE.I mean if i clear GRe is that enough to do phd abroad or i need to do something else as well.

yes you can do PhD from abroad after clearing GRE exam.since you have already done your masters degree in microbiology you are eligible for the exam.and it is the entrance exam to do PhD from abroad so you have a fair chance of going to abroad if you clear the exam.

GRE score alone is sufficient for securing admission in some or the other university abroad...but your marks decide the quality of university you get admission into...moreover the same criteria doesn't apply to every university for ex some university may demand some additional qualification/work along with good gre score and masters degree....you need to short list universities in which you are aiming to get admission and then probably look into their criteria for admission

Yes after clearing GRE with a good score there are ample chances of going abroad for doing higher education.
GRE just give you a passport to enter the foreign universities as they require your knowledge of the english language.
That is it. You have to score at least within 5000 points in GRE to go with a good rank.

GRE(Graduate Record Exam) is just an exam to assess your verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, critical thinking, and analytical writing skills.

This exam is conducted just to scale a student on a standard scale of GRE.

this exam is no way interconnected to any courses.. (please remember everyone).


As far as your masters(MB) is concerned, you have to apply for the same in
desired/ recommended universities.

Only through GRE(Graduate Record Examination) exam you will go to abroad for further studies.
As you have done PG in microbiology & want to do PhD in abroad, so GRE is only path that fulfill your dream of PhD.
& there are 100% surity that if you will qualify in GRE, then you can go abroad for your higher studies.

But you have to ready some document like Passport,Visa etc.

to get an good college for ms you have to have an gre score of around 1100 or more,
after clearing gre you have to apply for different universities which you feel suitable for you depending upon the various aspects like environment,placement etc.

GRE is not the sufficient fr studying in abroad you must clear the TOEFEL/ILETS with it.
Also you must have to clear NET for doing the phd degree in abroad like us, uk, canada etc.

GRE is sufficient for admission to foreign universities but you need to have a standard communication skills. For that you will have to take TOEFL test. This test shows your english knowledge that if you can study in foreign universities or not.

You can take admission in abroad collages after clearing GRE exam. If you score good then you will get scholarship there.

if you cleared your GRE exam well in good,

then chances are becomes more n more.

if you able to clear GRE with with good rank or marks.

you will get colleges of your choice and even scholarships too.

Dear friend GRE opens doors of foreign universities for you.. so that your application will be considered.. but you also need to have letters of recommendation form reputed profs.
GRE alone can't guarantee you good college, lest you wana get trapped into some low profile college.
For good MS you need to work since beginning.. good Acads, Some published papers , letters of recommendation... done properly will get you good college and scholarship.
HIgh GRE score help in all this.

Subject GRE's give you a chance to show your knowledge of a particular...
