For studying any technical degree course the minimum education required is a Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects from a recognised board.

So, in order to pursue software engineering degree course you are required to opt for science stream with PCM group for your Class 12th studies and computer science or information technology trade for your B.E./B.Tech degree course.

Further, for pursuing B.E./B.Tech degree course the minimum education required is a higher secondary school degree with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as main subjects from a recognised board.

So, to pursue software engineering course you need to opt for science stream with PCM group for your higher secondary school degree course.
