As far as you are concerned about the upper age limit to apply for Post graduate Teacher i.e; PGT then it is not fixed and varies with varying examination conducting bodies for example; the upper age limit for KVS PGT is 40 years while the same for DSSSB PGT is 36 years, etc. . Age relaxation is allowed for deserving category candidates as per the government norms in each case. If you have the master degree as well as B.Ed qualification then you are eligible for appearing in the entrance examination for recruitment as PGT. For state TET visit at official website of respective state. |

So, if you have the required educational qualification which is master degree and B.Ed qualification then you are eligible to appear in the examination. It is necessary to qualify in various stages of examination for the final selection. |

The required eligibility to appear in the examination is that :- Candidate must have passed master degree from a recognised university. Candidate must have B.Ed qualification.
