I'm 34 years old now and want to attempt Post Graduate Teacher exam. Am I eligible to apply at this age? What is the upper age limit? If I'm eligible than please share with me the syllabus and exam pattern details.

There is no upper age limit for PGT recruitment examination conducted by CTET.

The required eligibility to appear in the examination is that :-

Candidate must have passed master degree from a recognised university.

Candidate must have B.Ed qualification.

State Service Selection Board conducts the entrance exam PGT to recruit teachers for the state. Upper Age Limit is 40 Years for General Category. With the age 34 years, You are eligible to apply for PGT examination.

- You must have passed post-graduation with at least 50% with relevant subject from a recognized university.
- Upper Age Limit : 40 Years. Relaxation available 3 years to OBC, 5 Years to SC/ST.

No age limit to appear for PGT recruitment examination conducted by CBSE as CTET.

So, if you have the required educational qualification which is master degree and B.Ed qualification then you are eligible to appear in the examination.
