Re: Can I join indian army after 12th directly? you can appear for NDA exam which is conducted twice in a year time.....the application form is available at the post office near you at the coat of 20 only... after clearing the exam you will be called for an interview and physical along with other tests combinely called as SSB 2.the second entry is called as technical entry and for this you dont have to appear for any exams your selection for the SSB will be based on your percentage in 12th exams...... read employment news paper for notifications......you can also visit the official websites for Indian Army for more details....... best of luck |

Re: Can I join indian army after 12th directly? No, you are not eligible to apply for NDA Exam. The Minimum Qualification for applying NDA Exam is 12th class pass . Education or equivalent Examination conducted by a state Education board or a university. And the candidate should be minimum 17 yrs of age to apply for NDA Examination. So, complete your 12th first then you can apply for NDA exam. |

Re: Can I join indian army after 12th directly? when you join defense before graduation....then you are eligible for non technical and technical posts ....like you can apply only for NDA and can also apply for technical entry. technical entry is completely based on % scored in 12th standard. whereas for NDA you will have to appear for an written exam. if you join after technical graduation.....then you will be eligible only for technical posts. if someone is graduate in some other field then he will be eligible for his specialization. |

Re: Can I join indian army after 12th directly? Hi NDA stands for National Defense Academy. It is conducted by the UPSC every year to recruit candidates for the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings. Eligibility needs :: A candidate to be 12th pass with a minimum 50% aggregate in it from a recognized board or school. Age of the candidate should not be less than 16.5 years and should not be more than 19 years at the time of applying. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply and they should be physically fit. So yeah sure you may apply for NDA directly after 12th. But you have to clear this exam and go through a physical test and personal interview. The notification for NDA 2012 has been out, and the exam date is on 15th April 2012. One thing that you are saying, that your son is learning 12th Std in Commerce, that is good for him to get job in Indian Army. For this, your son should get minimum 55% including all subject and more than that, he should get minimum 45 marks in every subject then he qualify for the job of Clerk in Indian Army. If you want him to join another department in Indian Army he should get minimum marks. If he want to go any another competitive Exams or Enterance exams, so plz go through Employment News updates every Thursday. You will get good job in Indian Army NDA,CDS,SSC,NAVY are also are there, but the boy should be talent otherwise it is useless. If any one goes for these exams, his aptitude, mental ability, should be good |

The minimum educational qualification required is 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths or an equivalent examination with at least 55-60%. Age limitation is between 16.5 - 19 years with no relaxation. There are also some physical requirements. Minimum height should be 157.5 cm with 5 cm chest expansion. NDA follows written test amd physical test that an individual has to clear.... |

Procedure:- Appear in the NDA exam, if you got selected then you will be having an 10 days interview : day 1 - basic appearance day 2-5 GD PI and other tests day 6-10 physical and medicals The second way is technical entry scheme TES for that you should have minimum 70% in PCM and you dont have any written exam for TES They select 5-6 from every batch of 120 from the SSB interview if you get selected, you will spend your first year in INDIAN MILITARY ACADAMY, and next FOUR in other military college This way its different from NDA, and after 3 years you will start to get paid too thanks |

Yes you can join Indian army after passing 12th.You will have to submit the application form for NDA & NA examinations which are held twice in a year(April and Septmber). You will get to know about this exam applications and its further details by the official notice published by UPSC in the Employment News.After clearyfying the written exam you will be called for SSB interview in which you will have to perform different types of group and individual tasks.Once selected,you will be made a graduate on the expenses of government.The forms now arrive on 9th of April,2011. |
