Re: What is the upper age limit for appearing in UPSC Civil Services examination?

Hello,

car conducted by UPSC only mentions that a candidate above the age of 21 can apply for the examination.

As mentioned by you ,you will not turn 21 before the prelims.exam so you are not eligible to apply fot the same.
You can applying fr the 2020 examination and start preparing for the same with the help of basic books like ncerts.
Good luck

UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission.

The upper age limit for appearing in UPSC Civil Services Examination is 21 - 32 years.

Lower Age Limit for UPSC Civil Services Exam is 21 years while Upper Age limit for this exam is 32 years.

So, as you will be of 21 years next year, then you will be eligible for UPSC Civil Services Exam.

Note that for reserved category candidates, upper age limit is higher than 32 years.
