It is three years duration course. Application forms for various colleges are available during the months of May and June Interestesd candidates must fill the forms correctly and send them to the respective colleges along with the required documents before the last date. good luck....... |

All the candidates must complete 12th recognised board with 50% marks 3. Only the candidates under the age limit 17 - 22 years are eligible 4. BCA - Bachelor of Computer Application Duration - 3Years Semesters - 6 Eligibility Criteria for BCA A Candidate should be complete 12 class in any recognized board and should take a computer science group in 12 or Commerce with Computer Science. But one thing i would like to tell you that you must have to follow the below mentioned if seeking for admission in BCA such as : * You must have maths as one of your subjects in 12th as maths is compulsory for BCA. * You must have completed your 12th with a minimum of 50% marks. Re: How to Join BCA after 12th? Hi Candidates who have scored minimum of 60% marks in his/her XII board exam are eligible for the BCA course. So the only eligibility required for this exam that the candidate is 10+2 passed. The duration of this course is of 3 years. During the duration of these 3 years you will be taught many languages and computer applications. Generally for BCA direct admission is there after 10+2 exam & candidate is not required to give any entrance exam. After BCA you can go for MCA or MBA whichever is your choice. One more important thing is that if you are planning to do MCA after BCA then let me inform you that you can do MCA only if you have maths at 10+ 2 level. I hope so that information provided by me is satisfactory & helpfull for you........... |

This course is a technical related course where in number of IT oriented subjects and concepts were built in. In many colleges, direct admission will be given for BCA course without considering the percentage of marks that the candidate has secured in 12th class with any of the stream. But there are few colleges which will conducte entrance examination. Depending upon the performance in the Entrance Exam, the candidate will be given admission for this course. In such cases, some other candidates who have shown very bad performance in the Entrance Exam will not be given admission for this course. Some other universities or colleges will conduct entrance exam just as formality in the sense the candidae no need to perform well in the Entrance Exam. The performance of the candidate in the Entrance Exam will not be given preference. In current scenario, there are excellent job opportunities for the candidates of technical streams like -BCA -MCA So, I suggest you to gain good subject knowledge in your BCA course and get good command on at least one programming language. Soon after completion of your BCA course, you can have good number of job opportunities in top IT companies like -TCS -IBM -Infosys etc. After completion of your BCA course, if you won't get good job opportunity, then better to opt for MCA course by cracking the respective Entrance Exam for MCA course. Try to get admission for this BCA course in a reputed college so that there is a more scope for you to be placed in reputed companies. Wish you all the best. |

As a common you need to have at-least 60% but in some institute they may prefer for 65% to 70% student so its purely depends on university! you can do BCA without having math in +2 level but try to take maths subject in BCA course as it will be compulsory if you going to do MCA..as maths should be there either in graduation level or +2 level.... and now onwards there will be change in criteria i.e students need not have Certificate in Computing (CIC) to get admission into BCA and MCA courses offered by IGNOU. Re: How to Join BCA after 12th? to join BCA there are number of colleges all over the India and every college has own criteria to give admission to the candidate.In some colleges there is no criteria of marks but you have to pass the entrance exam conducted by the college.In some colleges there is criteria of marks ie +2marks % greater than equal 60%. But in every college you have to pass entrance exam. there are number of job opportunity after doing BCA that are as follows: 1.you can teach various languages like c, c++ etc to the student. 2.you can join call center 3.BPO 4.You can go for MCA and after doing MCA you will easily get job in various MNC as software engineer. |

You can go for the bca after completing your 10+2. bca is a field of the computer science. you will learn about the programming language in this courses. there is no any entrance examination for this course. If you have got good marks in your 12ththen you are eligible for this bca course. A 12th holder can go to the best college if he get very good marks. This is all depend on your percentage of 12th class. if you get good marks then you can go to nice colleges. You go to the particular college and then show then all your documents. then a rank list is declared and then you will allotted the college. best of luck. |

Re: How to Join BCA after 12th? dear friend, you wants to do BCA after completion of 12th which is a very good decision, if you have interest in computers then you can go for this course.. The eligibility criteria for doing BCA are as follows- *One must have complete the 12th with maths or stats as a main subject.. This is the only criteria for BCA course.. Different colleges have different admission procedure.. Some are conduct entrance test for the admission in BCA course... They select students on the basis of the marks in that entrance test.. Some are short listed students on the basis of the marks , which he/she have secured in the 12th exam.. All the best.. |

Re: How to Join BCA after 12th? after 12 th you can join bca . there are so many colleges in india which offers this course and the elligibility criteria differs with college as they make their own criteria .you can also join through entrance exam .but as general condition these are some eligibity criteria - you can do BCA after 12. For doing BCA you have passed in 12th in any stream either SCIENCE or COMMERCE with 50% aggregate marks and then you can take admission in BCA course. |
