i am studying in 12th and after this i wish to join bca. Is there any entrance exam for me . How much mark want in plus two for joining bca. After bca there is any job opportunities for me?. What are the qualifications required for me?

to join BCA there are number of colleges all over the India and every college has own criteria to give admission to the candidate.In some colleges there is no criteria of marks but you have to pass the entrance exam conducted by the college.In some colleges there is criteria of marks ie +2marks % greater than equal 60%. But in every college you have to pass entrance exam.

there are number of job opportunity after doing BCA that are as follows:
1.you can teach various languages like c, c++ etc to the student.
2.you can join call center
3.BPO
4.You can go for MCA and after doing MCA you will easily get job in various MNC as software engineer.

For doing BCA eligibility criteria is :-
You have to pass 12th Science or Commerce with English and one of the following subjects-Mathematics/Statistics/Business Maths.
You can go for following entrance exams also :-
Common Entrance Test(CET)
Symbosis Entrance Test(SET) for admit into Symbiosis International University (SIU).
So, you can make a direct admission or go for entrance exams.

after 12 th you can join bca . there are so many colleges in india which offers this course and the elligibility criteria differs with college as they make their own criteria .you can also join through entrance exam .clear the entrance exam and you will be able to take admission in collages according to your rank

Candidates who have scored minimum of 60% marks in his/her XII board exam are eligible for the BCA course. So the only eligibility required for this exam that the candidate is 10+2 passed.

The duration of this course is of 3 years. During the duration of these 3 years you will be taught many languages and computer applications.

There are some colleges in India which only take the candidates having mathematics at XII and got 60% marks. If you have these eligibility then you can apply for BCA course to any college.

But if you don't have mathematics at XII then there are some colleges in India in which you are not eligible. But you can apply in other colleges where the Maths is not required. Some of the colleges are listed below:

Hi,

Yes, BCA is a very good course and there are lots of job opportunities.
There is no particular entrance exam conducted generally like engineering or medical. But there is an entrance exam for individual institution and the eligibility criteria depends on the institution. Even some institution doesn't conduct entrance exam and they are giving admission from your 10+2 score.

There minimum qualification is that you should be 10+2 pass with maths or computer in your 10+2.

There is no cut off marks in 12 to join BCA. It depends on the institution where you want to do BCA. Some institution have cut off marks... But most of the institution doesn't have cut off marks and they conduct institution entrance exam and if you pass, then you can study there.
But you need to pass 10+2 with either maths or computer in your 10+2.

Good morning. ICWAI or BCA is a very good course which have lots of scope in your later career.
There is no such entrance exam for BCA like medical or engineering. Some institute may conduct or some may not. If you clear your 10+2 with maths or computer, then you are eligible to do BCA.

You didn't clearly mention your subjects. If you opt biology, then i am sure you must not have taken maths in your 10+2. But if you have computer subjects in your 10+2, then you can do BCA in any institution. There is no cut off marks and no combine entrance exam for this course.

After Completing Your 12th Examination, You Are Eligible To Do BCA Course.


BCA Eligiblity Criteria -

To Get Admission In BCA, You Have To Pass In Your 12th Examination With 50% Aggregate Marks.



But The Eligiblity Criteria Are Vary From Colleges To Colleges, Many Colleges Wants Maths As A Compulsory Subject In Your 12th Exams.

But Without Maths, You Will Also Get Admission In BCA Course.

Educational Qualification :-

There is no special kind of examination but it depends upon the college.

it is very easy to join bca after +2.... you have to just contact the good college near your home or city.....


you should have the minimum percentage of marks that the college requires and its done ...

BCA is one of the course which will relate you to the field of Computers.

It stands for Bachelor Of Computer Application.

For doing BCA you need to have completed your 10+2 exam with atleast 45% aggregate.

There is no other specific criteria.

You will be required to contact the respective colleges where you are interested in taking admission.

Generally for BCA direct admission is there after 10+2 exam & candidate is not required to give any entrance exam.

After BCA you can go for MCA or MBA whichever is your choice.

One more important thing is that if you are planning to do MCA after BCA then let me inform you that you can do MCA only if you have maths at 10+ 2 level.

Yes, you can pursue UG degree in B.C.A it is worth doing.
but after finishing B.C.A if you pursue M.C.A, it is of more value
so join B.C.A and prepare for M.C.A entrance exam (TANCET MCA) to get into good college.It is a three years course.

Soon after the completion of 10+2, one can become eligible to pursue BCA course at graduation level.

Many colleges give admissions for BCA subject to the eligibility criteria that
-Candidate should have to secure a minimum of 50% of marks at 10+2 level
-Candidates must have Mathematics as one of the subject at 10+2 level.

If you want to take admission in reputated colleges of india so you appear in the perticular entrance exam of the college or clear that exam and minimum score is 60% in the exam ..
