Re: What is the age limit to become Judge? If a person working in court in india as assistant staff, but he is law graduate than can he get age relaxation in judiciary examination? If yes than how much relaxation? Because some of department declares no limitations of age for their employees for appearing further examination for promotion. |

I AM RETIRED BANK MANAGER AFTER 32 YEARS OF BANK HBL AS MANAGER , ASSISTANT MANAGER, LEFT 5 YEARS BANK SERVICE IN 2009 AND AS MY LLB DONE BEFORE SO REGISTERED AS lawyer in year 2010 and now also HIGH COURT LAWYER SINCE 2013 AND DEALS CASES OF BANKING COURT AND PANEL BANK ADVOCATE IN NBP AND OTHERS BANKS. MY NOW AGE IS 63 AND ACTIVE ADVOCATE CIVIL ,BANKS CASES AND OTHERS CASES IN HIGH COURT ALSO. CAN I AM ELIGIBLE FOR BANKING COURT JUDGE ON CONTRACT BASIS , AS I HAVE WAST KNOWLEDGE ABOUT BANKING , I AM ADVOCATE HIGH COURT AND ACTIVE AND AS EX BANK MANAGER , IS IT POSSIBLE |

Re: What is the age limit to become Judge? Dear friends.. First of all He completed his LLB.. after 10+2 or after graduation.. Then you can work as a lawyer at least 10 years.. But the age limit of Judge is Shouldn't exit 45 years old.. Thank you and all the best,.. |

For becoming a judge first you should have LLB degree and if your age is less than 25 yrs then you can appear directly for state government exam " Judicial Magistrate Of First Class". But if your age is more than 25 yrs then you must have experience of individual practcing as an Advocate. 2. Pls refer point no. 1. Advocate can not promoted as judge, but he/she can become public prosecutor after 7 yrs of practicing as an Advocate. 3. LLB (if after graduation) or LLB (done after 12th). 4. Its state government process initially, after your experience you can promoted as central government employee. |

Re: What is the age limit to become Judge? hi, Go to college. The first step is earning a bachelor's degree. Go to law school. Study for and take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). Apply to and get accepted to a law school. After three years of study, you will earn your law degree. Become a lawyer. With your law degree in hand, apply for admission to the bar in the state in which you want to practice. Before you're admitted to the bar, you must pass a test and undergo a background check. Now you're able to practice law. Get experience. If you want to become a judge, it's a good idea to work for a judge as a law clerk. However, practicing law in any capacity will provide you with experience. When a seat as a judge becomes vacant, submit your name to the nominating committee for consideration. Become a judge. Judges are either appointed or elected. Either way, aspiring judges must have a good reputation within the legal profession. It's also important to have some political support and be well connected with those that make the decisions. Thank you........... |
