Dear friend

Sorry to say that Girls are not eligible to appear for the National Defence Academy(NDA) exam as per the notifications released by the union public service commission every year.

According to the notifications released by the union public service commission for the NDA exam,there is a rule that only unmarried male candidates can apply for the NDA exam.

The male candidates who had completed 12th or equivalent from a recognised board/institute can appear for the NDA exam.

Dear student you are a 12th standard science student without math subject, you liked to join in Indian Army.Dear student it is possible on the basis of your qualification you can join in Indian Army.The detail procedure is as under.

1.First of all you are to be a Graduate then you are to do CDS(combined defence service)to join in Indian Army.

Eligibility to do CDSE ARMY:-

1.A Graduate or a final year candidate from a recognized University in any discipline can write CDS Army exam.

2.CDS exm.is conducted by UPSC 2 times in a year.

3.The age must be within 19 years to 24 years.

4.Male/Female both can write CDSE Army exam.

5.Candidate must be the Indian citizen.

6.Candidate must be unmaarried.

To join in army you are to pass in written/physical/medical and in interview to receive the call letter for SSB.

Dear There,

NDA stands for National Defense Academy. The UPSC conducts NDA examination for recruiting candidates in the defense services.

The Examination is conducted twice in a year in April and August namely NDA I and NDA II respectively.

The Pattern of Selection in NDA is as follows :

* Written Examination

* SSB Interview

* Medical

The Eligibilities for the NDA Examination are :

* Educational Qualifications :

The candidate must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the subjects in 10+2 / Intermediate.

Candidates with minimum qualifying marks in +2 / intermediate are eligible.

+2 / intermediate Appearing Candidates can also apply.

* Age Limitations :

Age must be in between 16.5-19 years.

No Relaxation in upper age is given to any candidate belonging to any category.

* Nationality : Indian. OR

b) A Subject of Nepal OR

c) A Subject of Bhutan

* Sex : Male

* Marital Status : Unmarried

* Physically and Mentally Fit.

so from the eligibility required above it is quite clear that female candidate is not allowed to join NDA.

Sorry to say that but females are not eligible for NDA examination.

Only unmarried male candidate who completed their 12th with physics and mathematics as main subject are eligible for all the 3 wings of Indian Defence.Age of the candidate should be between 16.5-19 years.

If you are determined to join defence then first complete your graduation in any field from a recognized university and then apply for Combined Defence Service (CDS) exam. There are many post for female candidate in CDS exam.

First of all i am very sorry to say but the NDA exam is not for girls. It is strictly for boys who are unmarried and falls between the age limit of 16.5 and 19 years. Thus even if you are very interested to give this exam you can't do so as the eligibility criteria for this exam does not allows that.

But having said that i dont think you should lose hope for that as you can sit for the CDS examination after completing graduation. Since you are in class 12 right now so firstly i would request you to complete HS first and then choose a good stream and complete graduation from a recognized university.

Combined Defense Service is the full form of CDS and to recruit candidates in the Army, Air Force, Naval and Officer's Training Academy wing an exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission twice every year. This exam can be given by both girls and boys.

However it should be noted that girls can only apply for the OTA only and the rest of three wings are for boys. You can apply for OTA if you have a graduation degree in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university.

The stream here does not matters. On successfully cracking this exam you will receive training from Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai. Cadets who passed out from OTA gets short service commission.

For the OTA only unmarried female candidates can apply. Apart from that the ones who are widowed and may or may not have children can also apply for the same. The lower age limit for this exam is 19 years and the upper age limit is 25 years.

The examination pattern for OTA exam is slightly different from that of the IMA, NA and AFA wing. For this academy's written exam you need to stress on the following areas:- English and GK. For each paper you will get two hours and maximum marks allotted for each paper is 100.

Education Board or a University.

Yes, a science stream girl can join the Indian army but after completion graduation not 12th passed.

Only male candidates can apply for the defense service through NDA exam after 12th.

If you want to join the defense Service first complete your graduation with good marks and after that apply for the CDS exam.

Through CDS exam you can take admission in Officer Training academy.

Girls candidates are selected only for Officer Training Academy.

The maximum age limit for the CDS exam is 25 years. There is no need of math subject to apply.

You should be Indian.

You can apply for the defense service through UPSC official website in online mode

well i am sorry to say that you are not eligible for nda exam as you are a girl candidate.nda exam is conducted two times in a year by upsc for the selection of candidates in indian defence sector.

First of all i would like to inform you that Girls are not eligible to apply for NDA examination. Only unmarried males can apply for NDA examination.

So you can't join Indian Defense at present and must study till Graduation if you want to join Indian Defense in future.

If you complete Graduation then you will be eligible to apply for CDS examination which is available to both male and female.

So get admission into a good Graduation college and aim for CDS examination.

Age limit for CDS Exam:

Indian Air Force Academy: 19 to 23 years

Indian Naval Academy : 19 to 22 years

Indian Military Academy : 19 to 24 years

Officers' Training Academy : 19 to 25 years

Selection Procedure:

-Written Exam

-SSB

Girls are not eligible to get into NDA.

NDA means National Defence Academy.

Even for Millitary also, they are not eligible.

However, there are some special schemes for girls like

NCC shceme,

through which girls can join Army.

But for this, the girl should have completed Graduation.

Then only she is eligible.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

NDA is only meant for Male candidate, Girls are not eligible to apply for NDA now. But the Government is planning to accept Girls candidate to NDA in near future. Girls as interested can apply for CDS after Graduation Degree.

The candidate aspiring for NDA, must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and mental healtgh.

Sorry to say you are not eligible for NDA Entrance this entrance exam is only for unmarried male candidates who are in the age between 16and1/2 to 19 years

this exam is conducted by UPSC every year.

But the women has many opportunities in defense services after completing their graduation course.

so you can try for them in order to serve your country.

hi friend..
sorry to inform you that you cant apply for NDA after class 12..
only mens can apply for it after class 12.. but if you rely want to join army then you can join after finishing graduation with minimum of 55%.. and the age limit is 21 to 29.. and you must be physically fit..very important..

so i suggest you finish you graduation and then write UPSC exam and the join army..

i am rely sorry to tell you that after class 12 only boys are allowed to apply for UPSC exam.
but you can also apply after graduation with a minimum of 55%..
and the age limit is 21 to 29...
but most importantly you must be physically fit.
so i would like to suggest you to finish your graduation and then apply for it..

why government kept such eligibily for NDA, why girls are not allow to give this exam. So many girls are interested in NDA, but they can'nt do beacause they are girls, its not done, can government make any changes after such a good response from girls?

THIS MAY HAVE A NUMBER OF REASON
as i think simply, that the candidate selected in nda mainly sent for officer training.
in defence mainly officers are men, and it is very necessary for maintaing discipline in army, naval and air force.........

so i thinks girls are not eligible for nda.

but girls can join defence by other methods , such as by cds , ssc exams

girls are not eligible to join nda after +, whether they have math as their subject or not.
so their is no need of any preparation for nda.
but you can join defence after your graduation by giving the test such as cda, ssc etc.

As per norms and rules of UPSC for NDA entrance exam,Only unmarried male candidates can apply for the exam.
Age limit for NDA is between 16.5 to 19 years.
Sorry to say you are not eligible for NDA exam.

NDA is only for BOYS not for GIRLS..NDA has no meaning for girls.
Eligibility for boys-
Only unmarried male candidates are allowed to appeared in the NDA examination..
age must be between 16-1/2 to 19 years
12th appearing or appeared students are eligible....
How ever if you wish to join INDIAN ARMY then you can join it after your graduation...
