Re: Merchant Navy after B.SC(IT) at age 22? ---Yes,you are eligible to join the Merchant Navy as the minimum qualification is Graduation. :- you have to passed minimum of grdaution with 50-60% Mark's from a recognized board. :- After that appear the Entrance exam namely as CDS |

I have appeared Bsc(IT) with overall aggregate 62.55% but i have got 37.2% in pcm in 12th form Mumbai university , can apply for merchant navy for any technical post ? give me answer as soon as possible, am waiting anxiously. thanking you. even you can reply me on [email protected] |

Re: Merchant Navy after B.SC(IT) at age 22? ou are eligible to join Merchant Navy up to the age of 25 years. You can go ahead for Cadet course and can become up to Captain of the Navy. It is a best paid job in the world. For more details please visit bimsmaritime.com. The next course is going to start on 27 Jun 2011. |

Re: Merchant Navy after B.SC(IT) at age 22? Hello friend, Since you have done B.Sc. IT, you may join Merchant Navy as Engine Cadet or junior Engineer. To be eligible for the same, you will need to undergo a Pre-sea course offered by MERI. The Duration of the pre-sea course is 9 months. |

MERCHANT NAVY generally takes admission after 12th It conducts its own exams.......it offers B.SC degree in NAUTICAL SCIENCE ...........but as you are already graduate so i think there are less chances for admission in good colleges...... But you can try in private colleges all the best |

Re: Merchant Navy after B.SC(IT) at age 22? To become a MERCHANT NAVY you are eligible as far as your age is concerned. But you must have completed a graduation called B.sc (nautical science) to become a merchant navy. I suggest you to do that degree to achieve your aim. |
