Dear friend, If you are from the class 12th Science Stream background then the Hotel Management is not good option because it can opt also by a arts stream students. But if you have interest in this then you can choose but in my suggestion go for any following top courses after the class 12th for the Science stream students. The Top Courses are: 1. B.Stat (Hons.) 2. B.Math(Hons.) 3. B.Com (Hons.) 4. B.A. (Hons.) Economics 5. B.A. (Hons.) Mathematics 6. B.Sc (Hons.) Computer Science 7. B.Sc (Hons.) Physics 8. B.Sc (Hons.) Chemistry Besides the above if you want to become CA then you have to give the CPT or CAT test which is conducted by the THE INSTITUTE OF COSTAND WORKS ACCOUNTANTS OF INDIA or The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Top Engineering Courses : 1. Automobile Engineering 2. Civil Engineering 3. Aeronautical Engineering 4. Computer Engineering 5. Chemical Engineering 6. Marine Engineering All the above courses are best. After done any of the above courses you will be eligible in further Top PG courses of different streams. But I also want to tell you before choosing the above courses you have to find out that what will be the main reason to do the above courses and what the students do after done these courses means where they can placed. Also find that in which you want to go and what you want to become in life best of luck |

Yes hotel management is also a good option. Friend you don't compare subject. Subject is become difficult if you are not interested. If you are interested in Hotel management then it is easy for you.. You don't think that which is difficult you do what you want after that you will get success. Some other course like:- > B.Tech > M.B.B.S > B.D.S > N.D.A > B.SC etc GOOD LUCK! |

You may give the engineering entrance exams like:- IIT AIEEE VITEE KIITEE SRMEEE etc... Re: Is Hotel Management a right career option after 12th science stream? choosing the one's career depends on the person itself depending on his or her interest in that particular field but then hotel management after doing the 12th with the science stream is not one the good moves instead you should have done the degrees of the engineering , BBA , BCA , LAW , fashion technology , CA and others theirs scope is much more than that of the Hotel management so you can give the entrance exams for the engineering degree like that of the : IITJEE BITSAT AIEEE WBJEE ORISSAJEE COMEDK KARNATAKA CET CUSAT and others but lastly it depends purely on you which field you want to go .. so best of luck for future |

Many students are nowadays interested in engineering or medical or any other technical line. So there is a demand in other courses. So you have great scope in hotel management, catering or other non-technical courses. |

Re: Is Hotel Management a right career option after 12th science stream? after 12th with science stream it's not good to go for hotel management study i think. actually hotel management study is not a subject which is related to science. so after science study why you will go for hotel management? mainly students from arts and commerce stream go for hotel management study after 12th. there are so many good career option after 12th with science stream like Engineering Medical study General B.Sc BCA BBA and many more. you may first try for engineering or medical. for this appear in engineering entrance examination and medical entrance examination. if you are able to secure good rank then take admission otherwise go for B.Sc study with a good subject for BCA study if you are interested to study on computer application. other options are also available. choose the best suitable one for you. till if you have enough interest to study hotel management then obviously go for it. you should always give preference to your interest. hotel management is a very good subject for management study. job opportunity is also good. so there is no problem to study hotel management after 12th if you have interest. best wishes. |

The right career choice is the one which is actually and area of interest for the person, If Hospitality industry interests you if you like hosting guests and you have the zeal to help people etc. then definitely hospitality industry is a good choice for you and you should go for Hotel management. A person should have the following qualities:: Well mannered soft spoken Urbane gracious pleasant personality not easily annoyed and ability to take out others stress,and the willingness to help people. |

Why you are going with Hotel management.????? ya it is good course but not the best among all science courses... Following are the list of courses and entrances which can you give after 12th.. If you belonging to Non Medical Stream then You can give one of the following entrances exam- AIEEE IIT-JEE BITS BITSAT WBJEE You have many options in Science field like BBA BCA MCA BSc All above are courses and good.. You can also apply for NDA examination if you are not completed of 19 years.. For more information regarding NDA you can visit official website of UPSC www.upsc.gov.in OR if you belonging Medical Stream then You can go for following exams- AFMS CPMT State PMT AFMC exam is all India exam CPMT exam is also all India exam and held by CBSE State PMT is state exam which is held by state Board You can do following courses- BCA B.pharma BSc. |
