Is hotel management as a career a right option after 12th science stream?

If you are belonging to Science Stream then i don't think this is best or good option after 12th..
Why you are going with Hotel management.?????
ya it is good course but not the best among all science courses...
Following are the list of courses and entrances which can you give after 12th..
If you belonging to Non Medical Stream then
You can give one of the following entrances exam-
AIEEE
IIT-JEE
BITS
BITSAT
WBJEE
You have many options in Science field like
BBA
BCA
MCA
BSc
All above are courses and good..
You can also apply for NDA examination if you are not completed of 19 years..

OR if you belonging Medical Stream then
You can go for following exams-
AFMS
CPMT
State PMT

AFMC exam is all India exam
CPMT exam is also all India exam and held by CBSE
State PMT is state exam which is held by state Board
You can do following courses-
BCA
B.pharma
BSc.

obviously hotel management is a very good option. but for this you should have enough interest. after hotel management job opportunity is very high. but after 12th science there is also so many opportunity to built your career in various field. so first find out out in which field you have good interest. if you think that you have interest on hotel management then go for it.

hotel management is a very good option after 10+2. if you have interest in hotel industry then it is very good carrier.

look the performance in any field entirely depends upon your interest
if you are interested in HM then go for it but from a well reputed institute probably for any IIM
if you interested in computer then rather go for BCA which is also a good course
but why don't you go for b.tech which will give you a bright future?

Yes,there is great opportunity in hotel management as few students take it.
And in case of job you can get in many hotels and salary range will be 10000/- to 30000/- and may increase with experience.

after 12th with science stream it's not good to go for hotel management study i think. actually hotel management study is not a subject which is related to science. so after science study why you will go for hotel management? mainly students from arts and commerce stream go for hotel management study after 12th.

there are so many good career option after 12th with science stream like
Engineering
Medical study
General B.Sc
BCA
BBA and many more.

you may first try for engineering or medical. for this appear in engineering entrance examination and medical entrance examination. if you are able to secure good rank then take admission otherwise go for B.Sc study with a good subject for BCA study if you are interested to study on computer application. other options are also available. choose the best suitable one for you.

till if you have enough interest to study hotel management then obviously go for it. you should always give preference to your interest. hotel management is a very good subject for management study. job opportunity is also good. so there is no problem to study hotel management after 12th if you have interest.

Yes friend, hotel management is good career option for future. Many students are nowadays interested in engineering or medical or any other technical line. So there is a demand in other courses. So you have great scope in hotel management, catering or other non-technical courses.

if you are interested in hm then go for it... you will get a bright future in HM...
Dont go for that whatever other says.. just go with your interest...but do HM with best college....

yes it is a good option as long as it is a science cause. you don't need to under rate any profession because if every body run out of that profession who will do the profession, that means the profession will go on exile

choosing the one's career depends on the person itself depending on his or her interest in that particular field
but then hotel management after doing the 12th with the science stream is not one the good moves
instead you should have done the degrees of the engineering , BBA , BCA , LAW , fashion technology , CA and others
theirs scope is much more than that of the Hotel management
so you can give the entrance exams for the engineering degree like that of the :

KARNATAKA CET

In my view, after taking science stream it is not correct to take Hotel Management as your career option... You may give the engineering entrance exams like:-
IIT
AIEEE
VITEE
KIITEE
SRMEEE
etc...
Then, you can get any good college where you can pursue your further studies...Doing B Tech also has a bright future ahead...

Friend you don't compare subject.
Subject is become difficult if you are not interested.
If you are interested in Hotel management then it is easy for you..
You don't think that which is difficult you do what you want after that you will get success.

If you are from the class 12th Science Stream background then the Hotel Management is not good option because it can opt also by a arts stream students. But if you have interest in this then you can choose but in my suggestion go for any following top courses after the class 12th for the Science stream students.

3. B.Com (Hons.)
4. B.A. (Hons.) Economics
