For taking admission in RTU after appearing Diploma, Firstly you have to fillup the application form & After that your admission will be made on the basis of Diploma percentage by counseling. Re: How to get admission in B.Tech through Lateral Entry in RTU? Dear Friend The lateral entry to 2nd year B.Tech in RTU is not very transparent. The notification of lateral entry in RTU states: "LATERAL ENTRY IN B.E, IInd YEAR : RULES" The lateral entry to B.E. IInd year can be given if the science graduate simultaneously does some courses, with no extra semester, to make up the loss of B.E. Ist year studies, especially the first B.E. Engineering Subjects, for example, Machine Drawing, Practical Geometry and the Workshop- Practice. It should be left to the students & the departments to overcome these deficiencies. The other good options for lateral entry are Indraprastha University, New Delhi St. Longowal Institute of engg and tech., Punjab Cochin University, Cochin KIITS Orissa VIT Vellore Hindustan Institute of Technology, Chennai. Visit the respective college's website for admission test details. Thank You |
