Re: Is there any sports quota available for IAS and IPS? No, there is no sports quota available in Indian Administrative Services and Indian Police Services. Reservation is given to OBC and SC/ST candidates. The minimum qualification for Civil Services examination is that candidate must have done bachelor's degree from a recognized university. The age limit is 21-32 years. Three years upper age relaxation applicable to candidates of reserved category like OBC and five years to SC/ST candidates. There are three stages of this exam, first stage is preliminary which has two papers. Second paper CSAT is qualifying where you need to score 33% marks only. If you score 130 marks plus in General studies paper, then most probably, you will be eligible for Mains exam and last stage is interview. |
