Re: Verdict of calcutta high court on the age bar of llb? I am 43 years old English(Hons.) graduate of 2002 from calcutta Univ. I am a tax consultant, but as I'm not Bcom I've not been able to undertake the problems of my clients officially, as the govt. officials are not allowing me to discuss with them on behalf of my clients. According to them, I should have min. Bcom else LLb degree. I am experienced about 10 years above, I can even audit the Tax returns, can make project report and other related assignments, but I cannot stamp and sign them as i am not a CA or LLb. How can I get rid of this problem. Pls advice. volababa33@gmail.com. |

Re: Verdict of calcutta high court on the age bar of llb? Imposition of age bar for admission to LLB is violation of indian's fundamental right. in future, admission to all educational courses will be made age bar. what about govt's literacy programme, adult education, open universities ? Better close down all the programmes and open universities. let the indians be illiterate. |

Re: Verdict of calcutta high court on the age bar of llb? hai friends The Calcutta University is allowing all irrespective of their age to pursue legal studies. The Bar Council of India (BCI) has recently announced that it shall implement the proposed rule to set the age limit of 20 and 30 years respectively for entry into five year and three year courses of law respectively. But the Calcutta University has decided to allow everyone irrespective of age limit to study law in its affiliated colleges. The examination for admission in the B.A. LL.B. course of the university’s affiliated colleges will be held today May 2. There is no mention of age limit in the application form Attachment 79797 |
