Those who can join Income Tax Department of India, will have to qualify either UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) CSE(Civil Services Examination), or, SSC(Staff Selection Commission) CGL(Combined Graduate Level) examination. The educational qualifications required for the UPSC CSE or, SSC CGL examinations are mentioned below:- 1. Candidates must have completed their graduation degree in any discipline from any recognised college or, university. 2. Nationality:- Indian. 3. Age limit:- 21-30 years. 4. Age Relaxation:- 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. |

The minimum qualification required for applying for CSE is graduation from a recognised University. |

Re: How can one join Income Tax Department of India? You can get job in the Income Tax department after qualifying in SSC CGL or UPSC Civil Service examination. Examination is conducted every year for final selection. The common eligibility to appear in both the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.
