Re: PG holder from NSOU is eligible for NET? Yes, you are eligible to apply for NET examination as you have completed your Post Graduation from NSOU. Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) conducts NET exam twice every year on behalf of University Grants Commission(UGC) to recruit the candidates for JRF and Lectureship in universities and colleges in India. The educational qualification required to apply for this NET exam is : master degree or post graduation with 55% of marks from UGC recognised college and 50% of marks for OBC, SC, ST, PWD candidates. Final year master degree pursuing students are also eligible to apply for this exam. Maximum age limit to apply for Junior Research Fellowship(JRF) is 28 years and 5 years age relaxation for reserved category candidates. And there is no maximum age limit for Lectureship. Exam fee for this exam is Rs.1000/- for General category, Rs.500/- for OBC candidates and Rs.250/- for SC, ST and PWD candidates. |
