You are pursuing your B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering and want to know whether you are eligible for Railway Loco Pilot Exam or not. Yes, definitely you are eligible for Loco Pilot exam. Indian Railway allows B.Tech Mechanical students for Loco Pilot Exam. Following are the details for loco pilot exam: Educational qualification: --10th pass with ITI recognized by SCVT/ NCTE or --Diploma or higher degree in Electronics/ Mechanical / Electrical/ Automobile Engineering students are also eligible. Age Limit: 18 to 30 years. Relaxation is given to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD as per govt. norms. Selection procedure: The selection procedure consists of two stage process. The first stage consists of Aptitude test. The students qualifying in Aptitude test are called for second stage of recruitment process i.e Medical Test. **If you still have any doubt regarding the eligibility criteria, age limit, exam pattern etc then you can go through the detailed notification of previous year RRB Loco pilot in below attachment. |
