Respected Sir, I will be completing my Graduation with B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering this year and after completing it I want to apply for RRB Loco Pilot so I want to know am I eligible to become a RRB Loco Pilot after completing B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering? Please answer as soon as possible.

You are pursuing your B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering and want to know whether you are eligible for Railway Loco Pilot Exam or not. Yes, definitely you are eligible for Loco Pilot exam. Indian Railway allows B.Tech Mechanical students for Loco Pilot Exam. Following are the details for loco pilot exam:

Educational qualification:
--10th pass with ITI recognized by SCVT/ NCTE or
--Diploma or higher degree in Electronics/ Mechanical / Electrical/ Automobile Engineering students are also eligible.

Age Limit: 18 to 30 years. Relaxation is given to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD as per govt. norms.

Selection procedure: The selection procedure consists of two stage process. The first stage consists of Aptitude test. The students qualifying in Aptitude test are called for second stage of recruitment process i.e Medical Test.

Yes, you are eligible for RRB Loco Pilot exam.

Minimum educational qualification of RRB Loco Pilot exam is diploma and ITI course from a recognized University or board.

Your age should be in between 20 to 30 years old.

I already completed my btech mechanical engineering course. But i dont pass b tech course. Am i eligible for ALP in railway
