CSE is conducted by UPSC every year to make recruitments to 24 services/posts. After clearing CSE you can get posts like IAS,IPS,IFS,IRS,etc based on your rank in the Final Merit list. It is conducted in 3 stages viz. 1.Prelims/CSAT Exam 2.Mains Exam 3.Interviews Eligibilty to apply for the UPSC Civil Services Exams Educational Qualification : A Bachelors Degree in any discipline from a UGC/AICTE recognised University. Final year appeared/appearing candidates can also apply. Age Limit : General Category-21-30yrs on 1st August of the year of exam OBC-21-33yrs SC/ST-21-35yrs Attempts : General Category-4 times OBC-7 times SC/ST-Unlimited times Physical Requirements for IPS Vision 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. 6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye. You should not be suffering from color or night blindness. Height Male - 165 cm for General/SC/OBC candidate and minimum of 160 cm ST. Female - 150 cm OBC/SC/General candidate and 145 cm ST. IPS stands for Indian Police Service. This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission once in a year. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Nationality: the candidate should be a citizen of india. Educational Qualifications: The candidate must have complete the graduation from any recognized university. There is no minimum percentage required to eligible for this exam. Age limit: the candidate minimum age limit is 21 years. Maximum age limit is 30 years. Relaxation: OBC: 3 years SC/ST: 5 years Gender: Both male and female candidates are eligible. No. Of attempts: General Candidates: 4 attempts OBC: 7 attempts SC/ST: No limit of Attempts The candidate should be physically fit. How to become an IPS officer? I am from Tamilnadu hi i am g ramkumar i am from tamilnadu in chennai and my aim is to become an honest ips officer so i choose assistant commisner of police post but i dint have ideas to be it so please help me and give the elligiblities of that rank |
