Re: Any reservation quota for Hearing Impaired candidates in AIEEE?

I am student passed 2 from ICSE. I have hearing loss (100%). May I know if there is any reservation of this physical status in engineering colleges like JEE Mains and advanced? I would also like to know about the people who join in IIT in hearing loss quota.

Dear Friend,
I felt very bad to know about you. But the query asked by you is a general one which is a doubt for many. Yes, there is a reservation for physically impaired persons but it must satisfy the conditions kept by the ccb. You can check this in the booklet provided with the AIEEE application form.

Best of Luck

2. Scheduled Tribes (ST): 7.5 percent of the total seats in the Institution.

3. Children/War Widows of Defence Personnel Killed/Disabled in Action (CW): 5 % percent of the total seats in the institution for children/widows of personnel of Armed/Paramilitary Forces killed/disabled in action during the hostilities in the following priority:

a. PRIORITY I - Widows/wards of Defence Personnel killed in action.

Yes my friend there is a reservation in the exam of AIEEE .According to the rules,
irrespective of the category you belong to, there is a fixed reservation for Hearing Impaired of 1% in every college which would definitely help you.

Re: Any reservation quota for Hearing Impaired candidates in AIEEE?

hi dear
There is reservation for physically handicapped candidates (PH): 1% of all seats are reserved for hearing impaired persons. This is on horizontal basis, i.e. the person may be SC/ST/OBC/Gen, doesn't matter.

thanks
