In Merchant Navy mainly tasks performed in 3 ways: 1)Marine Engineering. 2)Deck Cadet. 3)Nautical Science. Eligibility Criteria For Merchant Navy: You should have the subjects maths,physics and chemistry in 12 standard. If You have to completed marine engineering You can join in merchant navy. If you have completed mechanical engineering you can join in merchant navy. You should have a minimum of 55% in graduation. Age Limit: The Age should not be more than 25 years. You have to write entrance exam to join in this course.If you are selected in the exam then you will get seat in the particular institute. After qualifying in the entrance you will be trained for one year. All The Best... |

The minimum qualification to take admission in Merchant Navy is completion of 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 60% marks in aggregate. As you have secured 75% marks in 12th level so you are eligible to apply for Merchant Navy. Generally the application form is being sold in the Axis Bank branch all over India in the month of November and the examination will be held on line in the month of December every year. Last date of sale of exam forms? dear friend, Eligibility for Merchant Navy:- 1.The minimum eligibility for courses in Nautical science and Marine engineering is 10+2 or an equivalent examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics. 2.Candidate must have secure 60% aggregate. 3.He should also pass a medical fitness test for sea service under standard norms and with eyesight 6/6 with no colour blindness. These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill. As you have secured 75% marks in 12th then you will be eligible for Merchant navy. All the best. |

Sunil your marks is good but to get addmission in merchant navy you have to give an entrance exam named as imu cet.last date of submission the form is 10 june 2011.
