Re: Can a Pharma.D candidate is eligible to open own clinic? To open a Clinic, one should have completed Medicine and should be a Doctor. If you open a Clinic without doing Medicine, that is illegal. But you can open a Medical shop within the Clinic through your D-Pharmacy certificate. It is mandatory to have D-Pharmacy certificate to run a Medical shop. Hence you can either a Medical store or have to study Medicine to become a Doctor. I suggest you to go for B-Pharmacy through lateral entry scheme as you have already completed your D-Pharmacy course. |

Re: Can a Pharma.D candidate is eligible to open own clinic? No You are not eligible for medical practice. Even after M.Pharm you can’t run a clinic. You (Pharmacist ) can only discover , make and sell drugs. Pharmacist is not allowed to diagnose diseases and prescribe medicines. Not even a Phd Holder in pharmacy. Hope you understand this.... |
