Hi You can apply for the PhD program after completing Post graduation in the respective field .A candidate who had done MSc MLT can't apply for a PhD in Medical microbiology.If you had done post graduation in Mediacl microbiology you can go for PhD in that field.For doing research deep knowledge for that particular area is necessary.For getting admission you have to pass entrance tests conducted by different universities.Also UGC will fund the candidates you have crached the Junior research Fellowships. |
