I HAVE COMPLETED M.SC. APPLIED MICROBIOLOGY.FROM JIWAJI UNIVERSITY IN 2004. NOW I WANT TO DO Ph. D. MEDICAL MICROMIOLOGY ANY UNIVERSITY/INSTITUTION IN INDIA MAY I ?. MORE OVER I AM B.H.M.S ON THE BASIS OF BHMS I HAVE COMPLETED M.SC. PREFERABLE PART TIME PH.D. COURSE IS THERE ANY INTEGRATED/DISTANCE/CORRESPOND COURSE.PL INFORMED.

Eligibility for Ph.D medical microbiology======>

->You have to pass a post Graduate Degree(Master Degree) Examination with at least 50% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average(GPA).

->For admission you have to pass an entrance examination organized by college administration.

i have passed the msc mlt course, and want to be phd in medical microbilogy. am i eligible the course.

You can apply for the PhD program after completing Post graduation in the respective field .A candidate who had done MSc MLT can't apply for a PhD in Medical microbiology.If you had done post graduation in Mediacl microbiology you can go for PhD in that field.For doing research deep knowledge for that particular area is necessary.For getting admission you have to pass entrance tests conducted by different universities.Also UGC will fund the candidates you have crached the Junior research Fellowships.

Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) for Ph.D medical microbiology:

a) Master's degree with 55% aggregate marks in a relevant discipline or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST and Interview

b) Other conditions as prescribed in the Guidelines for Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) programmes.
