You want to do something for the nation even though you are being a girl. That is too great to listen.

Here is the information regarding NDA Exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy. Every year UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) is going to conduct NDA Exam twice a year.

Candidates can join following defence services by cracking this exam
Army wing
Navy wing
Air Force wing

The selection procedure through which the candidates can join defence services is by
Written Exam
Interview
Medical Test

One should have completed 12th class with any of the stream to be eligible for Army wing.
It is must that the candidates should have completed 12th class with Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects in order to be eligible to apply for Navy and Air Force wings.

The candidates should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this exam.

Girls are not eligible to apply for this exam.

As per this criteria, I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for NDA Exam.

But you don't have to be disappointed at all. There is a way for the girls to join defence services.

For this you have to do Graduation with Mathematics and Physics so that you can apply for CDS Exam to make entry into Indian Air Force.

You can also make entry into defence services by UES (University Entrance Scheme) Method.

Dear friend sorry to say that Girls are not eligible to apply NDA exam.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

- Army wings

- Navy wings

- Air force Wings

Eligibility criteria for NDA Examination :-

Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Candidate must have completed 10+2 exam of a recognized School or Board and studying in the final year of 12th examination may also eligible to apply for Army wings.

For Navy / Air force wings:-

Candidate must have completed 10+2 with PCM subjects from a recognized board.

There is no minimum marks required for NDA Examination .

Age limit:-

Age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

There is No age relaxation for reserved categories in this exam.

Minimum height -157 cm with 5 cm chest expansion.

Hi dear,

Is NDA Meant For Girls A big Quetion Mark ??

NDA i.e National Defense Academy Exam is not written by Girls because Girls are Not Eligible for writing this.

NDA is only Meant for Boys. Girls become More Responsible only after completing their graduation Or any degree.

if girls wants to join indian Army then they can but Not after 12th they need to Go for further studies.

After Graduation you have ample number of Entries like

I) CDSE i.e Combined Defense Service Exam , need Girls/Guy with any Degree from recognized university for Indian Army.

If they want to join Indian Air force then they need to have Physics Or maths as a subject in their Graduation.

II) UES i.e University Entry Scheme , Final year Engineering Students are Eligible for this.

III) SSC Technical Only Final year Engineering Students are Eligible For this.

So, i do suggest you to Go for Engineering Degree to make your self Eligible for Every Entry

As the girls are not eligible for NDA examination so there is no any question regarding the minimum height required for girls for NDA exam.

If you are really interested to join defense , then i suggest you to completed your graduation first and try to appear in the Combined Defense Services Examination as girls are eligible for this examination.

This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want.

I would like to inform you, female candidates are not eligible for the NDA (NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY) exam ,conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC).
So, you are not eligible for this examination..
The educational requirement for appear in this examination is a 12th degree ..
If one wants to apply for the INDIAN AIR & NAVAL ACADEMY, one must have Physics & Maths in 12th with at least 60% aggregate,...
Otherwise, one can only apply for the military academy (IMA).

The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years.

The Eligibility Criteria For National defense Academy Examination are :

* You must be an unmarried male.

* You must be an Indian Citizen.

* You must have passed your 12th from any recognized board with physics , chemistry and maths as your main subjects.

* Your age should lie in between 16.5-19 years.

* You should be physically and mentally fit.

So , on the basis of the above mentioned criteria , girls are not eligible for NDA exam.

In NDA eligibility criteria there is one restriction for girls i.e girls are not eligible for the NDA.

After clearing NDA exam you can opt for
OTA(Officers Training Academy)
IMA(Indian Military Academy)

I am sorry to say that girl are not eligible for N.D.A exam because only unmarried male candidate are eligible for this exam..

If you want to join Indian Army then you can apply after passing graduation..
For this you have to qualify this you have to qualify the C.D.S exam..

C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year..

Eligibility criteria:-

> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

NDA is not meant for girls. Male candidate is only eligible to apply NDA.

If interested girls candidate having completed Graduation Degree in any discipline within the age of 19 to 25 years can join Defence sector through CDS(Combined Defence Service) exam conducted by UPSC twice every year and can join Indian Officer's Training Academy.

Girls having Graduation Degree in any discipline within the age 19 to 23 years can also join Defence sector through SSC(Short Service Commission).

Advertisement Schedule- In the month of March and September.

And the required height of girls in Defense must be at least 150cm.

Girls are not eligible for NDA exam,so as your are not eligible their is no height requirement for NDA exam.

But for CDS exam,Unmarried female candidates are eligible whose height should be not less than 150cm, age should be 19 to 24 years and education qualification should be atleast any graduation degree.

Sorry to say that girls are not eligible for this exam , you can serve your nation after completion of your graduation in PCM group, with at least 60%.

after graduation you can appear for CDS examination,(age limit 19-24)

you can apply for this after the completion of your graduation.

For IMA

For NA
19 - 22 years
For AFA
19 - 23 years

You can apply for the Indian Army, Air force or Navy after the completion of your
graduation. As the minimum education qualification required for this exam is
graduation .So you can apply for this after the completion of your graduation.

its very good that there are some girls present in our country those wants to do something for their country.

you are not eligible for joining the nda because nda is not for girls. its only for boys.
for girls minimum requirement of height is 152 cm.
those girls whose height is below than it are not eligible defence academy

Hi, sorry girls are not allowed to join NDA.

But dont worry, after your graduation you can join the Army as an officer, if you have NCC C certificate or you can apply for AFCAT to join Airforce.

eligibility criteria says that only unmarried male candidates are allowed to sit for NDA.

Apart from that , the other qualifications are as follows:-

1.) 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 70%.

Sorry NDA is only for BOYS not for GIRLS..
Only male candidates are allowed to appeared in the NDA examination..
How ever if you wish to join INDIAN ARMY then you can join it after your graduation...

Hello,
As National Defense Academy exam is only for boys so you are not eligible for the exam.
As you are girl then you can apply for CDS, UES, SSC.
The eligibility criteria will be B.Tech and the age limit will be 19-23 years.

i think as per the eligibility criteria of NDA exam this exam is only for the male candidates. Girls are not eligible to appear for the NDA exam.
But you can apply for the Defence through CDS exam and UES exam. As CDS exam is conducted for the graduate student and UES for the engineering student.

1.CDS EXAM

You can apply for the Indian Army, Air force or Navy after the completion of your graduation. As the minimum education qualification required for this exam is graduation .So you can apply for this after the completion of your graduation.

Age limits

For IMA
19 - 24years
For NA
19 - 22 years
For AFA
19 - 23 years
2. UES entry
You can also apply through University entry scheme . But this entry scheme is only for the engineering students. Girls can apply through this under short service commission under technical trade.
So you are not eligible for the NDA but you can apply for the defence through the above mode of entry.

NDA for Girls!!

I sorry to inform you that there is no provision for female candidate in NDA.

Only unmarried male candidates can apply for the NDA exam held by the UPSC.

If you want to Armed force then don't worry you can join but for that you have to satisfy below mention criteria

- Must have graduation degree from recognized university.

- Age in between 21-23 years for graduation degree holder and 21-28 years for B.E/B.Tech degree.

- Must have height above 152cm and weight according to height.

So, if you satisfy these criteria then to join defence forces you have to appear in written exams conducted by them like CDSE, AFCT, Direct SSB etc...

So don't loose hope you have chances to join armed forces.

Sorry, unfortunately there is no provision for female candidates
in NDA.

Eligibility:

Only unmarried male candidates can apply for the NDA exam held by the UPSC

However, seeing your spirit to join the Defence Forces,
you can appear for the CDSE conducted by the UPSC.

About CDSE:

The CDS exam is conducted by the UPSC twice a year
for the selection of able and eligible graduates to the defence.
Both male and female candidates can apply for permanent or
short service commission in the army, AF or navy.
Candidates through the CDSE join directly as an officer.

Eligibility:

Unmarried male and female candidates can apply.

Educational Qualification:

Candidate must be a graduate in any field.
Candidates in the final year can also apply.
For AF or navy physics and maths as 10+2 compulsory.

Age Limits:

For IMA:19-23 years(men)
For AFA:19-23 years(men)
For NA:19-22 years(MEn)
For OTA:19-25 years(men and women)

Hello,

NDA exams are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

And according to UPSC, You are not eligibile for NDA exam because girls are not allowed.

Only Male candidates can apply for NDA exam.

NDA is only applay for Boys only.

You can't appear for NDA.

The only exams for entry of girls are-
1.SSC(Short Service Commission)-
Qualification required- Any graduate degree/BE/B Tech degree with minimum 60% marks and having passed Physics and maths in class 12th.

Age limit- 19-23 years

Advertisement Schedule- In the month of March and September.

And the required height of girls in Defense must be at least 150cm.
