Re: Is KSOU B.Tech course approved by UGC? Ksou-karnataka state open University is approved by UGC just like many other national universities of India. The students who have graduated from this University are eligible for all the government exams . |

 KSOU stands for Karnataka State Open University. KSOU is approved by the UGC and DEC, so don't worry friend the degree from this university is valid for all government jobs. UGC and DEC approval letters are attached below. |

Re: Is KSOU B.Tech course approved by UGC? Dear Friend, KSOU Stands Karnataka State Open University. The KSOU is recognized by the UGC [University Grants Commission]. But their is no relation in between B.Tech Course as well as the UGC. This is because to offer Technical Degree Courses, universities/colleges need approval from the AICTE [All India Council for Technical Education]. And for your sake , i just want to inform you that the KSOU is not approved by the AICTE. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |

The acronym for KSOU is Karnataka State Open University. The acronym for UGC is University Grants Commission. Yes, KSOU B.Tech course is approved by UGC. KSOU university is approved by UGC(University Grants Commission) and DEC(Distance Education Council). But, this university is not approved by AICTE(All India Council for Technical Education). |
