Re: Marks in AIEEE to get admission into NITs, what were previour year cutoffs for NITs? since you belongs to OBC category, other then NIT's you can get into private institutes like- ICFAI University, Thapar University, Amrita University etc. Besides these you can also find seat in good college of your state, thats because it has been noted that always state rank is always remains better then AIR. |

Dear  if your son is expecting a score of 164 in this year aieee then his rank may lie between.... 30000-40000.....he may even get a rank below 30000.... there are only 10000 seats in all nits and few more 1000 seats in other colleges.... Re: Marks in AIEEE to get admission into NITs, what were previour year cutoffs for NITs? dear sir , on the 164 marks in the aieee exam your son will get the all india rank of about 35k. on the rank of 35k your son will get the admission in the branches like chemical , mining , information technology in the any of the old 20 nit's. as there are new 10 nit's are available this year. if your son belongs to the any of the state in which new nit is opened then your son will definitely get the advantage of that. because there is 50% of seats are reserved for the home state quota. like if your son passed the 12th exam from the mizoram then you will be in the home state quota for the nit ,mizoram ( aizwal campus.). for the cutoffs of the previous year and detailed information about the admission procedure in the nit's kindly visit the website www.ccb.nic.in thanks and best luck |
