UPSC comprises of three sections Preliminary Examination which covers objective type questions, Mains which is subjective type questions and personal interview questions. For eligibility part, aspirant’s age limit should be between 19 to 40 years. Relaxation is also given for SC/ST candidates of 2 years as per the government norms. |

Re: Eligibility criteria for IAS examination? the eligibility criteria for IAS are: 1)educational: graduation degree from any recognized university 2)nationality: should be a citizen of INDIA 3)age limit: A candidate must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination. relaxation is there: a. upto a maximum of 5 years for SC/ST. b. upto a maximum of 3 years for OBC. |

yes friend ....a person is eligible after perusing his/her graduation with any stream or a final student can also give IAS exam......... age factor is also essential that is 21yr to 30yr . thankyou |
