Re: Does Lingayat caste come under OBC in state of Maharashtra? Hello, Most of my relatives are now in obc category who were earlier in open category, but I am still in open category because in my document caste is mentioned as Hindu lingayat. Is there any solution to get the obc category? |

You may see the same in the following attachment with this post at the bottom of Page-8. Lingayat caste is excluded in the list of OBC candidates. Although following were in the list of eligible casts for OBC: Teli- Lingayat Lingayat-Mali |
