Does lingayat caste come under obc in state of Maharashtra?

LINGAYAT is not included in the list of OBC candidates of Maharashtra State. You may see the same in the following attachment with this post at the bottom of Page-8.
Lingayat caste is excluded in the list of OBC candidates.

Although following were in the list of eligible casts for OBC:

• Teli- Lingayat
• Lingayat-Mali

Attachement: List of all OBC castes exist in Maharashtra state.

Does Veershaiva Lingayat come under OBC list?

As you said that you want to know about the Maharastra caste category then you are not in OBC.

You will be considered in OBC category if you live in U.P and bihar.

Instead there has been listed Lingayat Wani , Lingayat Mali , Lingayat Teli under the OBC category for the Maharashtra state ..

sorry to say but, lingayat caste is not fallen under the OTHER BACKWARD CLASS list of maharashtra state.
although,, there has been listed Lingayat Wani , Lingayat Mali , Lingayat Teli under the OBC category for the Maharashtra state ..
