Re: which course is better bba or bca? heloo friend, Both BBA or BCA field are much reputed and popular courses offering in the whole india by different colleges or universities present in india. BBA is Bachelor of business administration and different colleges offer this kind of course and different master degree courses are too there after this BBA course. BBA is a 3 year course after which there are a number of government and private jobs are there under different areas. Master degree courses are as follows : --mba --b.ed --m.ed --hotel management --fashion design --diplomatic courses etc. BCA is Bachelor of Computer application and it too involves a number of job opportunities under certain government or Private areas.BCA is the field of computer and it's related softwares and application too. There are a number of sub areas too present under which you may get different job opportunities as follows : --NETWORKING --HARDWARE --SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT --SYSTEM TESTING etc. Different colleges are there offering this kind of course and both are brilliant courses offering a number of brilliant job opportunities. As you have mentioned that you have not studied any computer paper, what i feel is that you can opt for bba. once you do bba it is better only if you complete MBA also. it purely depends upon administration and business management. your having better opportunity in admin level. |

Re: which course is better bba or bca? Hello, See since you have done your +2 or higher secondary in commerce it is now quite not possible to take BCA. BCA is bachelor of computer applications and quite obviously it is a technology oriented genre. Now you already have commerce knowledge. So why not utilize to learn a genre that is similar to it. Go for BBA or Bachelor's in Business Administration. This is a business genre. You will be able to enter the business sectors. You can join some of the top commercial sectors like TCS or Mckenzie or Accenture or others and later on along with your job you can complete your MBA in correspondence. Think about it. |

I will suggest you to go for that course in which you are really interested as both the courses are having almost same kind of future. so if you are interested in BBA then you can go for MBA and if you choose BCA then you can go for MCA and both the MBA and MCA are having the same value. Sir, if you are a commerce student then i will sugest you to go for bba course because as you said you dont have maths in 12th class sofor you the simpler course and fruitful one will be BBA where as the final decision lies in your hand but BCA course has more technical aspects as that field is related with computers so my suggestion will be decide your self what you want to beas both are equally good and equally important so decide judiciously and do write to me about your decision or about any further querries. i will be glad to answer them thanks wish you goood luck and success... |

both courses are totally different. you are a commerce student,so i think BBA will be better for you as it deals with business,accounts and all also you are in touch with all those topics so it would be easy for you. where as BCA is based on computer applications which some what technical and you have not opted for information practices too in your 12th so it would be difficult for you.If you are interested in technical area then surely you can go with BCA but according to me BBA is good for you. but ultimately decision is yours.Choose the one according to your area of interest and make the best decision for yourself. Dear There , * BBA and BCA , both , are good courses and holds an important value in their respective prospects. * BBA stands for Bachelor in Business Administration . * BCA stands for Bachelor in Computer Applications. * If you are interested in Business and management field and think that you can perform well with business strategies and management tricks , then you should go for BBA but if you have interest in computers and programming to develop applications , then you should go for BCA . Now as per market demand and also i opine that , you should choose BCA over BBa because after completion of BCA you can go to pursue MBA and after completion of MBA , you can get job in companies relating from both IT and Management field. Otherwise , it totally over to you on you that in which course you have the most interest and think that you can rock in that very field. BBA stands for Bachelor in Business Administration where BCA stands for Bachelor in Computer Application.The syllabus of the two course are quite different. In BBA course the subject related to the Business Administration are thought.After completing the course you will find job in the management sector of a company.You can do MBA after BBA which is the continuation of the BBA course. In BCA the subject related to the Computer Application are thought.After completing BCA you can will find software related jobs.And if you want to study more then after completing BCA you can join MCA course. According to me both the coures are poles apart and belong with different background bba generally related to commerce stream and bca is related to science stream and those student who have math in 12 class should pursue bca course. And those who don't have math but informatics practices ,computer science in 12 class can also be do bca course from ip university but it is quiet difficult for them to tackle bca coures,, so therefore for them bba course is best. good luck........ |

Re: which course is better bba or bca? being a commerce student bba would be more suitable to you as bca involves computer applications and mathematics so, you might face difficulties. while in case of bba you would come across areas related to commerce where you can apply your knowledge. and after bba you can go for mba which will widen your scope to get into MNC's and other companies as manager. |

As you have said that you had the commerce background in 10+2 level. You also dont have either math or computer in your 10+2 level. So it is very sorry to say that you are not eligible for doing BCA. the minimum criteria for persuing BCA are as follows 1. The students having Science background are ideal for BCA. 2. The student must have either maths or computer as one of there subjects in there 10+2 level. So you dont have the eligibility criteria. But dont loose hope and dont feel bad because I think BBA will be the better line for you over BCA. As you have learned some subjects in this line. Accountancy is one of them.You can also do MBA after pursuing BBA. After that you can get jobs of high salary. So I want to say that go for BBA and do it very sincerely. You can definitely achieve your goal and can make your parents proud. Best of luck............................ |
