In diploma engineering different specializations are: Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Electrical Engineering (EE) Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Mechanical Engineering (ME) Automobile Engineering (AE) Civil Engineering (CE) Information Technology(IT) Good Colleges are: Christ University, Ramaiha University, Lovely Professional University, VIT, BITS Minimum eligibility for admission to the course is the successful completion of class X, or equivalent level of education with a minimum aggregate score of 40% with Sc ience and Mathematics, and English as 3 of the main subjects. To pursue diploma in Engineering you have to appear for Polythechnic entrance exam. This course is of three years. Hai i finished 10th 1992 by 65%marks.now i want to do electrical engineering i want to be proffesional engineer.i have very good knowledege about electricity.and also i am in precticaly very good.so advise me how can i join to your university.right now i am working in saudi arabia.therefore i dont want to leave the job thats way i want to do correspondence course.please give me some idea regarding this.awaitig for your reply thank you. |

If you skip those ones , you will not be able to understand the concepts... Diploma will be a good option ,, as it also gives more opportunity for jobs ... Engineering students doesn't provide core offers ... |

For this you must crack the various entrence exams according to the state. In AP that is POLYTECHNIC EXAM This is the diploma course Polytechnic : - There are many Branches in Polytechnic With Ploytechnic as qualification , there are jobs in Private sector and in Public sector also Some Good Courses in Poytechnic are , Electronics Electrical CSE Mechanical Civil And there are some other courses also See , If you complete Polytechnic in Anyone of the Above Courses then You will have many jobs in Government sector and in Private sector It is Better to get a minimum of 60% in Polytechnic. For taking admission in B.Tech, you must have done at least 3 years diploma after 10th in any branch of engineering. Some colleges take admission through lateral entry exams like Joint Entrance Examination of Lateral Entry (JELET), Diploma to Degree Entrance Competitive exam, etc. so you need to appear and crack these exams. Some colleges conducted their own entrance exam for getting entry. Admission procedure varies from college to college. So you will have to contact colleges individually. All the best !! |

Re: Can I do Diploma in Engineering after 10th? heloo friend, Diploma is the part of engineering bu it is not considered as the graduation degree and it is a 3-years course which you can do in any of the interested field, There are a number of fields under diploma of engineering which you can study in that diploma course. Diploma course is generally done after your 10th standard and you can even o engineering or b.tech after your diploma through lateral entry exam directly in 2nd year of that b.tech course. Fields related to diploma are as : --computer science --electronics & communication --civil --aerospace --automobile --electrical --biotechnology --marine --fire --instrumentation --information technology --mechanical --chemical etc. good luck !! |
