Re: Which branch is better for M.Tech for electronics & communication engineering?

VLSI and Embedded systems is better, since large amount of students heading towards it. But the evolving trend is "Digital Electronics and Communication Systems", since it too deals with vlsi and embedded systems partially. VLSI and Embedded systems knowledge can be achieved easily by attending some external tutors like Hardware and Networking centers(Jetking, IIHT, NIIT etc). There too VLSI and Embedded systems Certification can be achieved easily and more over those people teach the subject in depth, where a M.Tech(VLSI and EMbedded) student will not have knowledge about it. Companies look for talent, not for degree. If you people are really want double degree in ECE, then I suggest Digital Electronics...

Re: Which branch is better for M.Tech for electronics & communication engineering?

If you are really determined, just prepare for GATE exam and show up your talent.. You can choose best institutes like IITs , NITs , etc., if you score distinction marks.. The exam requires your knowledge in your core streams and mathematics of 3rd sem to 6th semester.. For more details, google GATE EXAM PREPARATION and start preparing from now on.. Wishing you the best..!

Re: Which branch is better for M.Tech for electronics & communication engineering?

hello dear
All the areas mentioned are good options. It is upto you to decide which out of these interests you. You must have covered the basics during graduation. Based on that you should decide which area you are most comfortable. Also you need to decide which out these will help you in making a career of your choice.
thank you
