Re: What is the work of field officer? From what I can see, it seems to be a job without a clearly stated role that varies across different organisations or sectors. What work will be assigned to you will depend upon the requirements of the organisation or the goverment sector that you work for. Is there anyone working as a field officer for Cabinet Secretariat in India that can shed a light to the kind of job they do? Any info on the job description will help a lot! |

Re: What is the work of field officer? friend, A Field Officer is the position which is assigned to Lieutenant Colonel, Major or Colonel to command units which operates for a short period of time. In navy, the position is given to Lieutenant Commander, Commander, or Captain. A field officer, also known as Senior Officer in Navy and Air force, generally commands the units such as infantry battalions, cavalry or artillery regiments, warships and air squadrons.The field officer is senior to Company officer and junior to the General officer. |

Re: What is the work of field officer? if u mean agriculture field officer of banks or other finance companies then they do jobs of loan sanctioning,meeting prospective borrowers and doing formalities of advances and credit. but field officers in other organisations also look after other than office works that is work on fields,customer relationship ,administration ...on field duty depends on company to company my friend ...... thanxs dear |

In every field either it is software, mechanical or commercial there is a need of field officer ,. and as its branches thats way he do work . generally its main work to keep contact with common people means,, with the customer . as representaive of his company. as for eg for commercial . field officer get in contact with the customer . and it helps the customer as thier needs . as in home . same. he works to improve thier customer too. thes all are the main work .and it differs with the branches. all the best with regards aditya as fo eg. . |

Re: What is the work of field officer? Work of Field officer differs from one company to other. In General, Field officer is responsible for planning and execution of workshops and field research. He should be a prompt, pre-planned, effective and timely mannered. He is incharge of arranging workshops, planning agenda, inviting participants and act as Liasoning officer and further reporting developments to the higher authorities. Nature of work varies widely from Govt. to pvt. sector. |

He builds and looks after roads, tracks, supervise the cleanliness programs, and camping areas, clean bush hazards, reduce weds growings. He also fixes different kind of daily-use equipments,fights fire, manage the environment of national parks. Good luck! |
