hi sir, my question is what is the work of field officer????,,,,, what he exactly do?

he has to check the quality,quantity of material he has to do field jobs depending on the company needs

any field if one is not from that department of dominance too.
so,i cant uderstand the work prospect ,you ae asking.
is it geologist's field work or archeologist?

The jobs done by a field officer are of numerous types.

A field officer sometimes looks after works inside office and also outside the office.

He builds and looks after roads, tracks, supervise the cleanliness programs, and camping areas, clean bush hazards, reduce weds growings.

He also fixes different kind of daily-use equipments,fights fire, manage the environment of national parks.

Work of Field officer differs from one company to other.

In General, Field officer is responsible for planning and execution of workshops and field research. He should be a prompt, pre-planned, effective and timely mannered. He is incharge of arranging workshops, planning agenda, inviting participants and act as Liasoning officer and further reporting developments to the higher authorities.

Nature of work varies widely from Govt. to pvt. sector.

In navy, the position is given to Lieutenant Commander, Commander, or Captain. A field officer, also known as Senior Officer in Navy and Air force, generally commands the units such as infantry battalions, cavalry or artillery regiments, warships and air squadrons.The field officer is senior to Company officer and junior to the General officer.

In every field either it is software, mechanical or commercial there is a need of field officer ,.
and as its branches thats way he do work .
generally its main work to keep contact with common people means,, with the customer .
as representaive of his company.
as for eg
for commercial .
field officer get in contact with the customer . and it helps the customer as thier needs . as in home .
same. he works to improve thier customer too.
thes all are the main work .and it differs with the branches.

the work of the feild officer is that he is responsibile for 2,000people and goed house -house, until all the people have been raeched and and mobilized over a period of 3 years.

he should get the informationof education, and even he does the counselling and mobilization.
The daily work fo feild officer is to advocate and mobilize people for testing to enable VCT services.
the feild officer is a mobile resource centre,library and helps to indiviuals to reduce their own risks to avoid HIV.
feild officer is the training of 3 years..

The work of field officer is to roam over the fields which got loans from them and examine the development of fields by which farmers of that field can pay back the loan or not.

From what I can see, it seems to be a job without a clearly stated role that varies across different organisations or sectors.
