Dear Friend,

AIEEE is the most famous entrance exam which is conducted by Central
Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) every year for the admission in the
engineering & technology courses.
Eligibility Criteria :-

For appear in the AIEEE examination you should pass the 12th std. with
physics, chemistry and mathematics (PCM) with at least 50% marks for
general category and 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PD category.

Those appearing in 10+2 final or equivalent examination may also
appear in AIEEE exam. A candidate can attempt only three times in
AIEEE examination once in the appearing in 12th examination and
other in just next two year.

Thanks

Dear friend,

You haven't mentioned about your Board from which you are studying right now.

However, you will have to appear for JEE Mains Exam.

JEE Mains Exam is the gateway to NITs, IIITs, etc.

Minimum percentage required for appearing in JEE Mains Exam is 45% only.

So, you can easily appear for JEE Mains Exam.

However, if you qualify it, then you can appear for JEE Advanced Exam.

JEE Advanced Exam is the gateway to IITs, ISM Dhanbad, IT-BHU.

However, for appearing in this exam, you must be in Top 20 percentile.

Some of the good books for the preparation of JEE Mains Exam are:

Re: Minimum marks needed in 12th standard to qualify for AIEEE exam?

HI

AIEEE, no longer exist.

for getting into NIT or other good engineering college, you will have to appear for IIT JEE

IIT JEE mains for NIT and other engineering colleges
IIT JEE advanced for IITs

you should have atleast 60% marks in your 12th for appearing for IIT JEE.

However, you should be amongst top 20% of your board if you want to get selected in IIT

all the best
