Re: Salary certificate proof required for non-creamy layer category in AIEEE? Sir, I am belonging an NCL-OBC (cast EZHAVA from Kerala). I have been got issued non creamy layer OBC certificate for my son from the competent authority in Delhi where we have been staying since 1987. The NCL-OBC Cert.was got issued in the year 2013. Now I am seeking admission for my son in an Engineering colleged recognized by the Delhi Government. For this purpose I have to produce the latest NCL-OBC certificate (issued after June, 2014) to avail the reservation earmarked for NON-OBC. When I visited the SDM's office to get it renewed according to the latest notification, they say that it is issued for the life-time hence no renewal will be done. Kindly advise me sir, is there is any provision to add an endorsement in the existing OBC certificate that now also we are belonging to NCL, as now my annual income is less than 4 lacs, or will they attach any additional annexure/certificate with this to prove that we are belonging to NCL now also. Awaiting for your valuable response. |

YES, it is required. but if you have current (sc/st or obc) certificate of non-cremy leyer(ncl) then nothing is required. since,(sc/st or obc) certificate are required to renew in every three years,so .if you have renewed your certificate within (2010-2007) then not to worry.but if not then renew it as soon as possible because without it you will not considered. |

I am a PSU employee.I joined my service as a staff category in the scale of pay of Rs. 1700---3080 on 3/9/1988.and at my 40 years of age I was in the scale of pay of Rs.5625---Rs.10175 on September 2004.Now my scale is Rs.9300---Rs.34800 and my salary income is above 4.5 lacs. I applied for my daughter for OBC non-creamy layer certificate but the authority cancelled the same because my salary income is above 4.5 lacs.I was told by the authority that i am not entitled to get OBC non-creamy layer certificate as i am a creamy layer candidate(salary income-above 4.5 lacs).My others documents are alright.Now my questions are-1)Am i not really entitled for the OBC certificate? 2)If i am entitled then what can i do for getting OB non-creamy layer certificate? 3)Are there any other rules under the West Bengal Government except the rules given by the Department of Personnel and Training, for being included as a non-creamy layer candidate? -Aloke Dutta |

Re: Salary certificate proof required for non-creamy layer category in AIEEE? Dear friend, Non-creamy layer certificate is required only at the time of making/renewing the SC/ST/OBC certificate. Once SC/ST/OBC is made then no where non-creamy layer certificate is required. But SC/ST/OBC certificate should be recent. SC/ST/OBC certificate are required to renew in every three years, if your certificate is made /renewed within last three years then do not worry, there is no need to submit the certificate. All the best.................. |
