Re: Syllabus for AFCAT? How to get previous year papers? Candidate applying for the AFCAT examination has to study the following topics for the preparation of Air force common admission test. (a) General Awareness – History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc. (b) Verbal Ability in English – Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary. (c) Numerical Ability – Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit & loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest. (d) Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test – Verbal Skills and Spatial Ability. This exam is of 100 marks and for every correct answer a candidate will get 3 marks and for every incorrect answer 1 marks is deducted. I have attached a sample paper of AFCAT examination. Re: Syllabus for AFCAT? How to get previous year papers? It is advisable not to but any extra books for preparing AFCAT.... Because the syllabus of AFCAT is same as other competitive exams like MCA entrances, Bank PO, LIC etc... So follow the entrance exam books of those exams and you can easily crack AFCAT. The syllabus comprises: Verbal ability Numerical ability Reasoning General awareness Aptitude Some patterns of the papers are attached below..... |

Air force common admission test is conducted every year for the selection of candidates in the various branches of Indian Air force such as Flying Branch Technical Branch Ground Duty Branch The AFCAT exam is based on the following pattern In this exam 100 questions are asked and each question carry 3 marks. For incorrect answer 1 marks is deducted. The following topics are asked in this examination (a) General Awareness – History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc. (b) Verbal Ability in English – Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary. Exam will be of 2 hrs Duration with Objective questions. Previous year Papers:- No where AFCAT Papers are available.
