Syllabus & Pattern Consists of Reasoning, Verbal ability, General Awareness , Numerical ability & General Aptitude.

Exam will be of 2 hrs Duration with Objective questions.

No where AFCAT Papers are available. But you can completely prepare for AFCAT through Different reference according to the Syllabus.

Candidate applying for the AFCAT examination has to study the following
topics for the preparation of Air force common admission test.
(a) General Awareness – History, Sports, Geography, Environment,
Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc.

(b) Verbal Ability in English – Comprehension, Error Detection,
Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary.

(c) Numerical Ability – Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit
& loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest.

(d) Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test – Verbal Skills and Spatial
Ability.

This exam is of 100 marks and for every correct answer a candidate
will get 3 marks and for every incorrect answer 1 marks is deducted.

I have attached a sample paper of AFCAT examination. From this paper
you will get an idea about what type of questions are asked in the
examination.

Format for AFCAT exam Air Force Common Admission test is conducted twice in a year. To apply for this exam a candidate should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university. Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for this examination. This exam is of 100 marks and candidate will get 3 marks for each correct answer. 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. You have to study the following topics for the preparation of the AFCAT examination. (a) General Awareness – History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc. (b) Verbal Ability in English – Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary. (d) Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test – Verbal Skills and Spatial Ability Books for AFCAT You can study the same books used for the Bank Po exams and all for the preparation of the AFCAT examination. The AFCAT exam is based on the following pattern
In this exam 100 questions are asked and each question carry 3 marks.
For incorrect answer 1 marks is deducted.

It is advisable not to but any extra books for preparing AFCAT....

Because the syllabus of AFCAT is same as other competitive exams like MCA entrances, Bank PO, LIC etc...

So follow the entrance exam books of those exams and you can easily crack AFCAT.
