Re: Candidates with spectacles selected in AFMC entrance test? A graduate of B.Sc. Examination with not less than two of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany or Zoology) are eligible. you spectacles do not have any role to play. If you have above qualification you can apply |

Re: Candidates with spectacles selected in AFMC entrance test? I too don't know this exactly, but since I researched on the web a bit, I got the following: You need to have BCVA (Best corrected visual acuity) of 6/6 which may be with spectacles that only have their power between +2.5 D and -2.5 D |

Yes, the students having spectacles will be selected for AFMC though they are perfect in studies as the Conditions for the physical standard are as under- AMC Cadet (a) Height (Min):Male- 1.63 m (5'- 4") Female -1.55 m (5'-l") (b) Weight (Min):Male- 45.36 Kg (100 lbs) Female- 40.72 Kg (88 lbs) (c) Chest (Min) : Male- Normal - 0.76m (30") Expanded - 0.81 m (32") Female- Normal - 0.71m (28") Expanded - 0.76m (30") (d) Visual Standard- 6/6 (±) 2.5 corrected with glass) (e) Color blindness is not accepted. (f) Hearing must be within normal limit Relaxable in case of meritorious candidate |
