Eligibility for Assistant Professor in physics at an engineering college?
Dear sir I completed my M.Sc physics in second class after that I completed my PhD in physics in December 2029. At present l am working as a assistant professor In arts and science college. But in arts and science college the salary is very low. So I plan to move to engineering college, and I attended three interviews in engineering college I performed well in the interview, but all three told you are not eligible for engineering college according to Anna University norms. Is that true sir, I am loosing my confident please guide me what I have to do.

One can start their career after M.tech as an Assistant Professor in engineering college.
Then they are required to clear UGC NET for qualifying the postgraduate for lecturership. If a candidate has done PhD well and good , otherwise it's not compulsory for Assistantship. |

Eligibility for Assistant Professor in Physics at an engineering college is, candidates must have a master's degree in physics or an equivalent with minimum 55%marks . Candidates age should be minimum 22 years.
