I want to do a PhD in Political Science from Gulbarga University. I just want to know about the eligibility criteria. Can I know about the eligibility for getting admission in this university for this PhD program?

The eligibility to get admission for PhD in Political Science at Gulbarga University is a candidate must have passed Master's degree or MPhil with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university and there is no specific age limit to apply. Admission selection will be done on the basis of entrance examination which is conducted by the university followed by personal interview and past academic performance. The candidate who has already passed NET/SLET/GATE/JRF/MPhil will be exempted from the entrance test.

A candidate must have obtained a master's degree from this university or from any other University recognised as equivalent in POLITICAL SCIENCE or equivalent subject with at least 55% marks and 50% in case of SC/ST candidates.

Candidates who have passed NET/SLET/GATE/JRF/MPhil are exams dates on entrance test and their merit will be decided based only on the percentage of marks secured at the PG exam.

°°° In order to get admission for PhD(Political Science) in Gulbarga University, the candidate must have done masters degree in political science or equivalent subjects from the university recognised by government of India and must have secured at least 55% marks in the aggregate at Master's degree.
50% aggregate marks are required in case of SC/ST candidates.
