Respected Sir, I just want to know that if I am going to take admission in GITAM Institute of Science for PhD(Applied Mathematics) then what is the eligibility criteria for admission? Kindly let me know about the eligibility asap.

You need to have a masters degree in concerned subject with at least 55% marks to become eligible for Ph.D admission at the said institution. Just make sure you perform well in the entrance exam and interview.

Those who have NET/SET/JRF or MPhil qualification, are exempted from entrance exam stage.

Eligibility to study PhD Applied Mathematics at GITAM Institute of Science is a pass in MSc degree in Applied Mathematics or Statistics or Mathematics or Physics or MCA or ME / MTech in any branch of engineering. Candidates are admitted to the PhD Applied Mathematics on the basis of their performance in the PhD admission test and interview conducted by the university. Candidates who have qualified NET / SLET / GATE / Teacher Fellowship and MPhil Degree are exempted from the admission test. GITAM Institute of Science website link is given Click Here

As for as my knowledge candidate must secured at least 55% marks aggregate in his degrees and if you are a part time candidate you need to have a work experience.

Last but not the least,you need to clear the entrance exam and interview conducted by the institution.
